MYYY COACH, JUSTIN VELICARIA! I started training with this guy 4 years ago back at the original Self Made location. I came to him honestly at probably one of my lowest points in my life, weighed the heaviest I had ever been, and just knew I needed to turn things around and he was the first person that came to mind. In the past 4 years, he has taught me ALOT. He always had answers to any questions I had regarding my training or nutrition, which helps out in the long run because I learn how to make smarter decisions myself! A good coach doesn't just tell you what to do, but they have to be able to explain why... and it make sense. Not only that but he's incredible in being able to improvise and adjust programs/schedules to MY needs. He listens and pays attention to when work is needed in specific areas and offers multiple solutions so you don't feel stuck. You need that in a coach. ‍ Our sessions are always so fun and he gives his undivided attention and is always engaged with his clients during training. With a big ol' smile on his face. He helps you through your sets (even as simple as counting reps out loud for you to help push you through), adjusts your form as needed (and explain why), and doesn't have his face buried in his phone or sit down and boss you around the whole time during a session. He's unlocked a lot of potential in me and continuously does so even to this day. It's difficult to not want to make someone like him proud. He knows what he's doing and ALSO succeeds in his OWN training outside of his own clients! You can tell he loves what he does. I first learned about Self Made through a friend who takes boxing classes there and it's a really nice and clean gym and that's when I was introduced to Ray who is an awesome trainer there! His IG is Ray.B.Fit so I would recommend you check out his page. I mainly want to talk about my trainer Ray who is just amazing at what he does and it really shows through his dedication. He holds Boot Camp/boxing classes every week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8 PM which consist of cardio, timed stations with a variety of workouts for each one, boxing and technical boxing as well. He offers 1on 1 classes too, but the group sessions are so much fun! Now and then he also holds fit challenges which can get very competitive Lol. I've been training with Ray for a little bit over a year and my transformation has been insane. When I started with Ray, I had back issues due to a previous injury that caused nerve damage. He made sure to customize my plan not only to reach my overall fitness goals but also to build my overall back strength and to avoid injury. First of all the venue is great, but beware of who you train with. Las Vegas do not train with @CoachDTrain_ I wrote this to the gym I use to train at. I hope to get a good response. It's not just about the money it's about the principal. I urge you all not to train with Dorian Warmsley. "Hi my name is Joy Ngaosivath, I was training with Dorian Warmsly and after 5 months of sessions I would always pay in full 24 sessions, this last session, I had told him about my injury and he persisted to shame me for the weight and new exercise given. I told him about my two car accidents and he persisted to shame me for not following through with the exercise. The next set I had a sharp back in my back and then continued to have the pains later that day and had to take medication to help the pain. After 5 months of evaluation of his training sessions I decided to end my training with 15 sessions left. I asked for a refund for the unpaid sessions and he declined it saying there was no refunds for unpaid sessions which is not stated in form prior to having him services or during his services he never mentioned it. Because he is an independent contractor I am not sure if you can say anything but I am very upset his lack of professionalism & compassion." read more

I really well kept gym that can cater to any type of workout! Cardio, strength training, power movement - you can pretty much workout and achieve those focuses in many ways given the variety of equipment! It's a very spacious facility where everyone can get their workout in without being cramped and plus everyone is really respectful! I always did my training session with ROMEL MAREQUEZ and boy....! this man puts me to work. Every time I'm around the area, I would always schedule a session with him cause I know he would fix me up right. He's focuses a lot on technique with your workouts whether it's boxing and lifting weights and make sure the workouts are performed correctly. I learned of Self-Made because I follow Jason on IG and he was offering a complimentary boxing class at this location. So in all fairness I don't know much about the gym itself minus taking the class. From what I can tell it's trainer based more so than a membership type gym. As far as the boxing classes goes I have taken classes at a few different facilities in town and this format is what I prefer. It gets five stars from me! You feel like you are really training and doing exercises that an actual boxer would incorporate into their workouts. The class included drills in the ring, bag work, stations, some sparring and a timed drill at the end that involved teamwork. So in other words this is not your typical cardio boxing where you go in and punch or kick a bag for an hour with no guidance on foot placement or proper technique in a too crowded room. Jason was actually a fighter and it shows. So if you're looking to crush some calories and get a great workout in at the same time I would definitely check out Jason's class! read more

The greatest gym in Las Vegas to improve and be inspired if you want to get on track is Self Made Training Facility. My personal trainer Justin is a really optimistic individual who pushes you to the edges of your physical capacity. I like his energy and encouragement, especially his upbeat attitudes. A trainer who motivates and inspires you to pursue your goals. Finding the best personal trainer is difficult, it took me 18 years after my last gym visit, I thought I was in excellent health and thought I was fit, then what a blessing to meet someone who encouraged me to return, and I adore his positive vibe. Even when he was taking a break, you will never see him with a negative vibe, he is always on 100 percent with no pretension. The part of my results I appreciate the most is that I haven't enjoyed shopping for clothes in six years after giving birth. I am now gladly returning to the XS/Small size.
