It's like, "I think I tore my Achilles" and the medical assistant or receptionist asks, "Have you taken a Covid test?" and you say no, you haven't and they ask you why, like Huh?!! I ask the medical establishment to please reframe from hiring people for any other reason but for those who genuinely care about the health and well being of the people they are to serve. Taking a ready made test for everything that ails you is not healthcare. If this office even has an office manager, the first line of business would be to fire the individual who is responsible for asking stupid questions. Second, the doctor should seriously ask himself if he's still interested in the values that called him into this profession in the first place or if he should find another line of work or retire.
