1 What they offer 2 The experience…read more3 Who goes there 4 See the gym in action 5 Equipment 1. First off, the gym is named Zanshin. Zanshin is a MMA school. Within the walls of Zanshin is also the DaJoGen School of MMA and home of local fight team Chaos. The benefit of all three is a beautiful marriage of experience you'll find nowhere else. The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Zanshin: Aikido Brazilian Jujitsu Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu/Jujitsu) Judo Karate Kick Boxing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Muay Thai Boxing 2. As far as gyms go, this is by far the nicest MMA gym in the area. I dont know of any other gym with a spring board floor catered to MMA and fitness. The equipment is top notch with a variety of bags and cardio equipment. You can walk into this newer gym and work out side by side with world class athletes. The best part is, you dont have to be a world class athlete to train here! The ambiance here is like a big family in addition to being family friendly. As a beginner to the sport of MMA, i found the DaJoGen school of MMA to be a great way to condition myself for my triathlon season and i didnt feel like i was lost in the class. 3. ***WARNING!!! Its addicting and probably the best fitness training you'll get. At any given time, you can be training with people of all professions from active military soldiers and professional fighters there for specific training to college students and house wives there for fitness. The variety of attendees is a unique experience and great networking. 4.Here's a video tip DaJoGen puts out monthly on their Facebook account that gives a glimpse into the conditioning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGOwCHfbTaM&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL 5. As far as equipment you'll need, you can buy anything you dont already have at the gym. The bonus is the gym doesn't try to make any money off of you on product sales. They're genuinely there for the love of the sport. I would suggest 3 things: Boxing gloves Mouth guard Shin guards

The training here is just amazing. Top notch athletes and coaches!!read more

We tinkered with it (once a week, maybe) for the better part of a year until my wife announced that we'd be taking a 6 week fitness challenge offered by the gym on April 1st, 2024. To say thing accelerated at that point would be an understatement! Results from the 6WC are undeniable. My and our experience is that the community, support and culture is unmatched. You get out of it what you put into it, but if you DO put forth some effort you will get a TON back. Forever grateful to ILKB Beaverton for introducing permanent and healthy change to our lives.

I had driven passed by that iLoveKickboxing sign almost daily for a couple of years and had always been curious about it. My only experience with kickboxing was from doing it virtually on Xbox Kinect back in the mid-2010s, but I did fall in love with it then! Then, in August 2025, after my weight loss had been at a plateau for a while, I decided to try it. I scheduled my first class after seeing the ads on Facebook and luckily it was with the ahhhhmazing and HILARIOUS and beautiful instructor, All-In Alex, who played mostly hits from the early 2000s which made me feel right at home, and the workout was exactly what I craved! With 55 classes completed over the last 4.5 months, I've shed another 20lbs. Not only am i healthier, but I am happier. Like so many people nowadays, I don't exactly have financial abundance, but I can see that when I prioritize my health and wellness through this gym and community, my quality of life has improved, and that investment is SO worth it. It's amazing seeing the progress I have achieved in such a short time. I will continue on this path for as long as I can, and I am soooo grateful for the new friends, community, and of course all the amazing instructors that make it so fun and rewarding. I'll admit it-- the classes are addicting. Always looking forward to my next one!

I can't say enough great things about ILKB Oregon City…read more After 6 weeks of kickboxing, I lost just under 9 lbs and 5.4% body fat. These results are not something that I saw when I was going to the gym and working with a personal trainer. I knew it was going to be a great experience the minute my husband and I walked through the door. We were greeted by Tasha who was super friendly and went over everything with us. We were so excited that we signed up to be members before taking a class. The facility is bright and clean and it's not uncommon to see one of them vacuuming or wiping down the mat and bags in between classes (note: this was being done pre-coronavirus). These classes not only help you get in shape but they help relieve stress. There have been many nights where I took some aggression out on a bag after a long, frustrating day at work. I always look forward to attending class because of how good I feel after. Fellow members are all friendly and inviting. There is no judgment here like you may experience at a normal gym. All the instructors are wonderful and genuinely care for everyone that walks through the door. You are greeted, by name, when you walk in and when you walk out. You are always guaranteed to have a great class no matter who is leading class. They are constantly motivating everyone whether in class or in Facebook posts. When you join ILoveKickboxing Oregon City you become a part of their fit fam and they go above and beyond to make you feel like a family member.

I needed to move my "intro" appointment to another dsy and when I texted back ... no response. I tried calling the number in the website and it was wrong. I waited a day or two, texted again and again no response. when I decided that $139 a month was too much to pay to be ignored, I went into the Beaverton location and was told I needed to cancel on line. I enjoyed talking to a human who could have done it as they can register you in person but you know, customer service. so I went in line and can't access the info line or the membership line to cancel. so now I was charged an additional $139 to KOT be able to cancel. I know cancelling memberships to clubs is difficult. I am very disappointed that the hype and false advertising was really just that. Hype And false advertising. I have never posted a review on Yelp but decided that this lack of customer service and fake enthusiasm warranted a review. I would not recommend i love kickboxing Beaverton for anyone.
