The actual dentist was fine during the one appointment I was able to keep, but my last two appointments were a complete joke. The first one they canceled on me, which already left a bad enough impression that I was ready to be done with this place, but my wife booked another appointment so I decided to give them a second chance. What a mistake. "We gave your appointment away" For a business that expects people to plan months ahead, they seem to have zero respect for their patients' time or schedules. If you have nothing going on in your life and can drop everything whenever they decide, maybe this place is for you. Otherwise, don't waste your time.

Please note that this five star review comes from someone who HATES going to the dentist. Location: Centerpointe Dental has two locations (Lakeville & Burnsville). The Lakeville location is easy to get to, near Target (I have a Target shopping problem...) and they have a private parking lot that makes it easy to drop off patients and park. Service: The staff is beyond friendly, skilled, knows what they're doing. The staff at Centerpoint truly does what's best for the patient and they put the patient(s) first. I was told by a dentist at a local clinic that I would need two veneers post root canal. I went for a second opinion with Dr. Krech; he was able to internally bleach my tooth and saw no need for one veneer, let alone two. He saved me time and money and I;m forever grateful for this. You can tell the staff are passionate about dental health and love what they do! This factor truly makes a difference in the level of care and again, putting the patient first over a possibly higher payout. Insurance: Centerpointe works with most major insurance companies. If you don't have insurance, they'll talk options with you to see what works best for you and your budget. My insurance doesn't cover internal teeth bleaching, so I called around to a few dental practices to get an idea on pricing and Centerpointe definitely had the better pricing out of three different practices. Overall, I highly recommend Centerpointe Dental (either location). If you're in the market for a new dental provider, check out Ceterpointe Dental.

Major shout out to Jenna, who went out of her way to welcome me, learn about my needs/anxieties, and make sure that I felt at home and safe. She even offered local recommendations since I'm newer to the area. My favorite part of the visit was that they offered a menu of items to make me feel more comfortable in the chair! I chose a stress ball for this visit, but might choose additional items on future cleanings! Why not make it feel like a spa visit? HUGE shout-out to my hygienist, Eriel!! She was probably one of the best hygienists I've ever had. She was non-judgemental, sweet, kind, explanatory, and made sure I was doing well and comfortable throughout the visit. We had great conversation, and I felt like she had genuine interest in making sure I was in a good spot. I'd highly recommend her! Dr. Heidi Smith, was also very friendly and helpful during my exam! Lastly, I think they did an amazing job of being upfront and honest about cost throughout my visit. Anything not covered by insurance was very clearly articulated and I felt like I had full control of whether or not I said yes or no to the options. This is huge, because no one likes to be surprised with a massive bill at the end of your routine service. I can't wait to keep coming back to Heart of the City!
