There has been a consistent reaction after I make any complaints, and attempt to enforce rules for my family that are not apart of my agreement. Each time I address a situation that I am dissatisfied with, shortly after The Director and District Leader either unenroll or threaten to unenroll my daughter. It's a terrible situation to be in as a single parent who requires consistent care for my child and has grown to trust my child's teachers. The Kindercare policy is clear and is apart of the reason I chose a franchise provider like KinderCare with its higher costs over a local business. Currently my payment is ONE DAY late which has not been an issue many times (this center has a late fee that I pay whenever it is charged and a policy that states a child will be unenrolled after a payment is MORE than 14 DAYS past due) Every time we discuss my agreement they talk in circles as if following their own policies is making an exception. Although I have trusted them with my child for more than a year if at any point they break their policy I have no resources and it takes days to reach a resolution. As most parents know daycares have waitlists that are months long which puts my employment in danger if my child is unenrolled abruptly. Also, I would be forced to take my child away from teachers who love and nurture her if she is kicked out of her center because of higher ups. After breaking my enrollment agreement in July, The District Leader came up with a set of rules for my family only. I told her in no uncertain terms her rules are not in my enrollment agreement and won't work for my family and yet she is still trying to enforce them. Her "recap of what will be needed" is not an agreement just another bully tactic that completely dismissed our conversation and the enrollment agreement, sent via email hours after we actually spoke. If you want an agreement you can trust and a center that doesn't take issue with you respectfully addressing concerns about your child look you may want to look elsewhere. Here's the actual policy in my enrollment agreement alongside what the leadership at KinderCare is trying to revise for my family.

They send me pictures and videos of my kids every day. The facility is clean and modern with a large gym for winter/rainy days and age appropriate playgrounds outside when weather permits. She has developed…read moretremendously as this is her 1st preschool after daycare and 1 year of break at home due to pandemic, we would be thankful to Ms. Smita and Ms. Waafa for showing her and other children all love and the care they needed. All the staffs are so loving and caring special mention to Ms. Smita,Ms. Waafa,Ms.Aari,Ms.Thomas, Ms.Nancy,Ms.Chris,Ms.Reni,Ms. Allyson. We had to relocate to sandiego 2 days ago but my kid keeps saying about her classroom friends and teachers 24×7 and says wants to go back to MCA after she comes from school she would enact and play her classroom scenarios with her soft toys as her friends, herself and me as Ms.Smita and Ms.Waafa. She loves her classmates and Ms.Smita and Ms.Waafa as they do so. Even I am so addicted to talk and play with my kid about her classroom. The best thing happened in her life is being a MCA student, I wish I had known about this place earlier and enrolled her from toddler program itself as they're in practice for more than 15yrs. We had to relocate otherwise she would be still going to Ms.Smita's classroom at MCA. My kid loves the place and the gift letters given to her from her friends and school. Ms.Smita has so much positivity and ever smiling face which influences the kids that even I take her as an example on this is how I need to be with my kid. Their education methodology is the best around Detroit as my kid was attending couple of daycares around until she was 3, I can compare her learning and behavioral development after going to MCA. Most importantly teaching is based on montessori methodology through activities taught to kids with love and care. She's eating even rice by herself now thanks to Ms. Smita,Ms. Waafa and Ms. Nancy. Thanks to Ms. Aari for teaching spanish and engaging the kids with the exercise song and dance moves. My kid perfectly teaches us that since beginning. She recently started full-time just for 3 weeks before our move and enjoyed time with Ms. Chris arts and crafts classes. Overall MCA is the best thing happened to my kid and us in Detroit and Ms.Smita's classroom is the only thing we miss now. Lots of love to you MCA, Ms. Smita,Ms. Waafa and all the classroom friends(its a big list to write their names) from Sahana, I am hopeful that she will always remember all of you as this is her 1st school experience. Thanks to Ms. Thomas and MCA office for giving Sahana an opportunity(enrollment) to be a MCA student.

My child has ADHD and has struggled with learning to read and I've had very positive experiences with all of her teachers along with help she gets daily from a reading interventionist. There's so much focus on community and I love that. My younger kids ask almost every day when they get to go to the school like their big sister. There are so many ways to be involved and I love the diversity of the families we get to be involved with.

Run away from this place…read more Their teacher, in the Beech room, physically assaulted my 5 year old son by digging her nails into the inside of his wrist and yanking him to the floor forcefully. My son also shared that this teacher always digs her nails into him hard when she grabs him. I told administrators, the principal, and superintendent they wanted to cover it up. Black parents please beware before sending your child here. Other Black parents have told me that their children were called the "n" word and nothing was done by the staff or superintendent. This school is violent and the children are left screaming and yelling at eachother with no adult intervention. The staff is rude and quite unprofessional. There are suppose to be peace meetings, but there is no peace when there are 5,6,7,8 year olds in one classroom with one teacher and the 8 year olds are grabbing the 5 year olds to yell at them in the corner while teachers sit by and watch. This is not montessori. This is chaos. The 5 year olds are left crying while the teacher barely pays attention to rest of class because they are so overwhelmed. This is a violent place. My childs life will never be the same because of this place.

When looking for a daycare center, we were looking for a Christian organization who would love our children, the way Christ loves his children. We have found this and more with Joyful Jungle. Our family has greatly benefited from the teachers and administration working with our family. Joyful Jungle carefully trained their staff and hires exceptionally compassionate people who have the ability to become upwardly mobile as a career. The little turnover has made a difference with our children. The care and dedication from every teacher is easily observable and how they know and understand each child. The school dedicates time for parent teacher conferences, but they are easily accessible for questions at any time through the ChildPilot app. Further, my daughter has severe allergies; the directors and teachers of each of the locations along with the owner, Rachael, have taken every step possible to ensure my daughter safety. The peace that comes from knowing she is safe is priceless. The cost is not to be overlooked, however we have found our children have greatly benefited from the curriculum. As parents who are not child experts, leaning into the teachers for their wisdom on situations (potty training, behavioral issues, etc) has been an incredible resource. The center provides all diapers and meals when they are eating food (even avoiding allergies) and the hours of operation fit for a wide range of schedules. Our time spent at the Clawson center has provided a community of support, beyond expectations of a typical daycare provider. While knowing our children are safe, loved, and well taken care of has brought our family a tremendous support system which we have come to think of as extensions to our family.

The are not Christian people at all, they actually the epitome of evil. They are narcissistic and self centered and the owner only cares about profit. She does not care about employees, let alone your children! She only about cares about her image. The Joyful Jungle has lost Great employees from racism ,unfair standards or people simply quitting because they are not cared for. As a former employee myself I have expressed concern about myself and they blew me off, The children . The Disorganization is off the charts and don't even get me started on the violations. The kids barely have plates and silverware. They eat off of coffee filters and paper towels meanwhile you guys are paying thousands of dollars for your kids to go here. I have been told multiple times to sweeten up the story. They have been paying parents off so that way they don't get sued. They watch our social medias looking for little things to fire their employees over but at the same time watch us on indeed and slander our names for companies we apply for so no one would want to hire us.Now let me get back to the kids , if you have special needs kids do not send them here because they are not truly cared for by any of the higher us. Teacher try their best but it's only so much they can do with the basic knowledge they have. They are pushed to the side and excluded. No one even tries with them and say they are "too difficult to handle". Parents are constantly being told that the daycare is looking for special needs teachers and that's not the truth at all. Please for the sake of you and your children find a better daycare .

Amazing Christian based education…read more Jesus is emphasized, not religion. Worth the financial sacrifice. Sure nothing is perfect, however my kids have come leaps and bounds here.

There are two good things about this school…read more.. Okay, there's probably more than that but there's definitely two that I know of for sure. 1. Ms. Vivian is probably dead and therefore no longer part of their staff. She was evil incarnate when she was working here (I should know, I had her for kindergarten). How the physical abuses got past the administration are beyond me, but this was a different time, and she was horrible. 2. Ms. Cook no longer works here either. She was a redheaded demon. No, seriously. I corrected her on her grammar when I was 12 or so (Mr. Matthews was a good English teacher) and she pretty much tried to shoot me with flaming arrows. Ever since then she would make up random things about me that were totally untrue just to get me in trouble. I hope she's dead too, really. Anyways, there still were plenty of great teachers here in my day; Mr. Matthews, Ms. Green, Ms. Ehardt, etc. But none of them work here now either. I guess since most of this stuff is irrelevant now, it's probably not very helpful. However, if you are considering sending your kids here for the Christian aspect I should tell you, they also did such a good job of teaching me to think independently that I experimented with Pagan beliefs in high school and definitely became an Atheist in college.
