There's one big shed dedicated to outdoor furnishings, another shed for office and a third shed for indoor lounge/ dining. The first time I came here, I didn't appreciate the distance between the showrooms. By the time I walked to the third shed (in the midday sun), I was dehydrated. Points go to their excellent vending machine facilities in the third shed. Perhaps they've had too many customers faint while walking the length of their showroom. For future reference, it's much better to drive you car around to park at the specific shed you are after. Super A-mart is worth checking out during the sales if you are looking at furnishing student accommodation at relatively cheaper prices.

Wood items are mostly solid wood, there's lots of leather and mostly leather furniture, fabric quality is good, and now that we have the furniture in our home, I can tell you everything is perfectly comfortable. They have three separate showrooms, one for living room, one for bedroom, and one for outdoors. Prices are pretty good, at a little more than half of what you might find at just about any furniture store. Delivery was quick and painless and customer service was not bad, either. One of our items arrived damaged, but they replaced it right away with no questions asked.

If you've ever wanted one of those reclining sofas (like Kate Winslet laid on when Leo drew her in Titanic, ahem) you can find them here. The cane furniture pieces are unusual, and really quite unique. Basically, most people would be able to find something to their liking here. Some items are only sold as sets, others are available individually (you would have to enquire about a specific piece). The salespeople are very helpful and friendly. Because it's a wholesale store, it's cheap too! As a side note, you will get what you paid for here. Read between the lines. Furniture shopping is great fun. A great excuse to justify poor treatment of customers! The next day, went to a competitor, negotiated $400 off the same product and free delivery. They have 2 huge stores next to each other here, one which sells the appliances and computer stuff (toasters, TV, Vacuums, washing machines, computer games, electronic stuff and freezers in general) and the other which sells your bedding and furniture and flooring. It's all you really need. I first thought prices here would be expensive, but after going literally across the road to another huge superstore, we ended up buying most of our furniture and bedding and appliances from Harvey Norman. They will match prices, they will give you discounts here and there and tthey are always pretty damn competitive without being desperate. They also have a huge range of flooring and it seems they're trying to if not already are monopolizing the market so all the other smaller flooring and carpetting shops can't compete. They have an extensive range of wood and lino flooring and well, let's say they were our one stop shop for our new home and new home renovation and fitting out. We were really happy with the service and price we got here, and we sure did shop around as you do on a budget with a massive new mortgage on your hands. I wouldn't hesitate actually I have already recommended them to many of my friends looking to furnish their new house or rental property with stuff. It's a great place to start.

I remember when we first moved to the area, we wanted to fill the house with new furniture. Oz Design Furniture was one of the places we visited and one of the places we ended up buy most from. We were being taken care of a lovely gentleman who works there. He stuck with us from beginning to end of our picking and choosing which lead to the purchasing. He showed us the many options they have for furniture suites. He explained that some of the furniture on display is available to choose in colour other than whats on display. We found a cabinet, entertainment unit and coffee table that we liked. We choose the colour we wanted and he went ahead to get it ordered. A few weeks later he gave us a courtesy call to let us know it was made and will now be shipped to their store. We saw the finished product and we were thrilled! They delivered to our home and the furniture looks brand new and hasn't moved since. Oz Design Furniture team are very professional and a super friendly bunch of people. So we went here and ended up buying him a really awesome cushioned on all sides double bed frame and might I say, he loves it. It cost us under $200 and a similar bed frame everywhere else was at least $400, the quality was pretty much the same. We also went back when they had their Easter sale and bought our 2 leather recliners for my husband's 'man-room' there for $200 off the price listed which we were pretty damned happy about. We did do our research and the thing is, A-Mart have previously never been known for their quality, people usually went there to get the cheaper furniture because they couldn't afford to get the quality stuff. Having said that, this A-Mart now stocks more than a handful of awesome dining tables (which we bought a set of) and leather chairs as well as outdoor furnitre which I'm sure we will check out as well when we have the budget for it. So A-Mart is coming good and trying to shed the previous image, good on them! Definetely check out their cute little leather chairs for kids too, at $99 they are so worth it.
