Nice little library in our small town. They have fun…read morecommunity events and good community support. We like to come on Monday's for kids time and Thursday for more kids activities. Especially in the winter when we're all sick of being inside. Well organized and nice staff to help you find what you need. My kids like the loft area where there are toys and books to choose from. There is also a nice representation from the library on Thursday's at the Coop for kids during the summer. I like this very much. If you read to your kids they associate reading with love and then learn to love books too.

Stop calling this business a "library."They are not a library in any sense of the word.After I not…read moreonly discovered they are operating as business and not fully a county library and ripping people off deliberately,I stopped "renting" books etc from imagineif and I see I was further correct by the recent articles/news about the whole situation.I had "rented" some books from them after imagineif took over and I was only ever informed by imagineif once of missing books and that was one single letter informing me that I was being sent to collections for the missing books.Previously if I or anyone in my home had a late book we would receive several informational reminders.After calling and asking questions I was informed that they do not mail late notices anymore of any kind and that they will just start up a bill for $1 a day(A far cry from the previous 10 cents a day)after a book/movie/item was three weeks late and then onto collections.So they also did not inform anyone on their website or through any news outlet otherwise I would have definitely seen/been properly informed the new facts of their business.My jaw hit the floor.I paid for the books and shut down all my households cards after reading the article about shareholders(or whatever they want to be called)crashing a columbia falls library meeting with their hands out demanding money.I will not be apart of any imagineif book renting business if it is not going to be fully a county library or whatever it is that it was before,plain and simple.Non profit my foot.

I can't rate…read moreit as highly as the Seattle Public Library, which I also reviewed, but that's only in terms of absolute quality, rather than in terms of how it meets or exceeds my expectations. In this type of a contest, the Lincoln County Library would win. The people who run the library have a vision for the library, and it isn't one which is mired in the past. Libby had interest access through the library long before many small towns did, and they continue to offer it to visitors as well as people who don't have their own internet access. With a library card, it is possible to reserve books online, and also order them through their participating libraries interlibrary loan service. Naturally it is also possible to rent media such as DVDs and VHS tapes, and there are a few new releases as well as a decent selection of B&W classics. There seems to be online/phone access to reference librarians as well, although I haven't tried this service. All in all, I think that this library has done an excellent job of serving the community.
