I am an annoying wannabe camera nerd, so when I say this I do not say it lightly - Stephanie and John made our engagement pictures to be the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. True, I have a bias, I recognize that . That aside, the pictures were wonderfully framed, they were so well composed I couldn't pick a favourite. Each one captured the emotion we felt, and did it so elegantly. I wanted to print each and every one! Each one was timeless (to us) and each one was just perfect. Our friends also commented on how beautiful the images were and they were! Putting aside the fact that pictures were just sublime for a moment, what else makes this a 5 star experience. Stephanie was responsive, communicative and thoughtful in our conversation. She was available via email and telephone and replied more swiftly than I would have even expected. She not only came thru with helpful suggestions for the day, but took time to come early and help me figure out what the heck to do when my original plan fell thru for a lack of attentiveness on my part. There is something to be said for the expertise and quick thinking on her part which enabled the day to go thru smoothly. While I would have gladly paid a lot more for the pictures, and it is hard to put a price to such a wonderful moment in our lives, I must say she is very reasonably priced. So great price, great communication, great results. My only grief here I could not give them more stars than just five. read more

Stephanie and John are amazing photographers! We knew we were in great hands after how comfortable we felt after 3.5 hours of engagement pictures! We cannot wait to see all of the wedding pictures! We LOVE Stephanie and John! They are both amazing photographers and amazing people. My wife had previously been a bridesmaid in a wedding that they were the photographers for and raved about how great they were. As I looked through the photos they have taken at previous weddings I was blown away at the quality of their pictures and how professional they looked. Our initial meeting with them was wonderful. We discussed the feel we wanted for our wedding and how we wanted everything setup. They listened to us and all our ideas and made us feel extremely comfortable with them. We loved talking with them about everything from photography to discussing our families and our histories. They even helped me with advice on what kind of camera to get and John gave me lots of suggestions on different scotches to try. On our wedding day they took the time and made sure to get us in the perfect position in order to have the pictures look great. They both were extremely patient and polite with us as they adjusted and instructed us on how to stand and where to look. Stephanie was the perfect balance of being fun and friendly and professional to make sure we got every photo setup perfectly. We had a February wedding and despite it being freezing cold out they worked with us to get so many great pictures at all of our different locations. They did a fantastic job of not only getting great pictures of us but capturing all of the little moments in between all of the chaos that we wouldn't of even noticed. We're pretty sure John would do anything to get the perfect picture, from laying on the ground to stretching his arm around a pole to just get that right angle. When we saw how our pictures turned out we were blown away. They perfectly captured the entire day and night of our ceremony and reception. We loved going through all the pictures with Stephanie and John in their studio after the wedding. We were brought to tears when we saw our wedding day presented to us and captured so perfectly.  We would highly recommend them to anyone needs wedding or any kind of photography done and we would go to them first for any future needs. I don't even know where to start with John and Stephanie at Imagine It Photography - Simply put, they are the ABSOLUTE BEST both professionally AND personally! My husband and I do not live in Ohio and spoke to a handful of photographers over the phone, but after speaking with John and Stephanie our search was over and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were able to do a small engagement session with them before our wedding and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They make an effort to get to know their couples and that is truly something special. They spent the entire day with us on our wedding - from getting ready to the sparkler exit after the reception. John and Stephanie also picked all the places for us to do our photos in DT Cleveland since my husband and I live in Chicago. We told them what we were looking for in our photos and they more than delivered. Our pictures turned out AMAZING! I get the chills when I look at them. Also, did I mention that they capture every moment of the day? I believe we ended up with over 1,600 photos. Not a second was missed. John and Stephanie also know how to control a crowd and a wedding party when it comes to taking photos. They go above and beyond the photographer duty as well. For example, my bustle broke on my dress and my bridesmaids were trying to fix it and Stephanie came over, used her phone as a flashlight and joined in the effort. I can't speak any more highly of John and Stephanie at Imagine It or recommend them more! You can tell they love their job and love to photograph love :) They are hard working, professional and fun to be around. My husband and I found Stephanie and John of Imagine It Photography through the Knot's reviews and can truly say we stand behind the 5 star reviews. Having to plan a wedding from 3000 miles away proved to be challenging but all the referrals including our florist we got from Stephanie. Our wedding day like any other wedding day had its hiccups. We were 1 and a half hours late to our reception due to some crazy and unforeseen traffic and my first thought was I am not going to get all the pictures I hoped for. Well that could not have been furthest from the truth. Not only did they calm my nerves and make me feel comfortable and okay with the delay we got more beautiful photos than I had ever thought possible. The way they captured our day and all of our guests and family was truly magical. I can say 100% I loved every photo they took and their photography brought the magic to life. If I could get married again and do it all over I would use Stephanie and John every time. What an amazing photographer! Stephanie is so easy to get along with which helped my husband, bridal party and I really feel comfortable. She does a perfect mix of the must have family shots and some of the most amazing candid shots.. they all looked so natural.
