Their introduction letter named the company but no individual property manager contact -- a potential violation of ORS 90.305. Multiple residents called Sterling repeatedly for weeks with no callbacks and no responses. When I called their Vancouver, WA office requesting our property manager's contact information, the receptionist refused to provide a last name and was shockingly rude. June & August rent statements arrived with zero Sterling contact information -- no address, phone, email, or website -- despite their introduction letter devoting an entire page to payment instructions. July rent statement included a page with contact information, but only after I sent Scott Hess a copy of my MMCRC complaint. After I cited ORS 90.305 in writing and contacted their licensed property manager Scott Hess directly, Sterling responded promptly and provided individual contacts and park rules. Prior to that: weeks of silence. Our community consists largely of working class residents, many non-English speaking, elderly, and disabled. Sterling's responsiveness appears directly proportional to how much leverage a resident has. Documentation exists. MMCRC has been notified." For context: our previous management company, Pure Property Management & owner property management people, were responsive, professional, and respectful ~ unlike Sterling.

I stopped by to give my earnest money for a house to Stewart title on Friday November 10th…read more Well it ended up that they were closed that day to honor the upcoming veterans day. Well with some stroke of luck there was o me very dedicated women who came into work even though she had they day off. Her name was Valerie. She kindly let me know that they were actually closed today but she stated she could still accept the check and show proof that I was there and did give the check to them by Friday. She let me know that it could not be deposited that day because banks are closed, but she did get all my information and my realtors information. She even took the time to personally comfort me regarding the stress of house After shortly leaving my realtor reached out and let me know Valerie did indeed send her an email of confirmation that I was there and gave them my check. I was so touched by her going above and beyond for me along with how polite sweet and friendly this woman was. It was so refreshing to work with someone who genuinely did everything she could to help!

Financially incentivizing a tenants lease with 50% fee on the 1st month not only adds to the overall %, it's counterintuitive to an owners goal of long term tenants.

I wouldn't trust an agent that would assist in the criminal sale of someone else's property. I called and talked to him when I found out, and he pretended not to know. Then said the new owners showed him a piece of paper that said they were the owners. I calmly said Ken show me the piece of paper, he said don't yell at me and hung-up. Crime is still in-progress. Redwood Holding A giant corporation filed the fraudulent trustees deed on 2-7-2023 the same day the first case below was entered on the docket. Second case could still go on for a year or more. Also three cases in Oregon Appeals Court, then Oregon Supreme and the US Supreme Court again. The Porch Swing Property agent was too busy to hold the open houses, and kept telling us open houses weren't a good idea.So much for Porch Swing Properties theory on open houses? The Porch Swing Property agent was also to busy to show up for our closing at 8:30 am. Hmmm................... too busy at 8:30 am? Please do your homework when selecting a real estate agent.
