I was going to be taking the place of a client who had last-minute canceled on a stylist named Heidi. The consultation time with her was very short. She asked very minimal questions, but I was told by the lady at the front desk that she was "very good" so I trusted her. However, I was wrong to do so. The overall experience at the salon was pretty pleasant. She made good conversation with me and I was provided with water. I walked out of the salon pretty happy with my results. I thought that my bangs were a little bit short, but I didn't mind that much since that happens almost every time I go in to get a touch up knot my bangs. mind u i barely have bangs they are basically long curtain bangs that i like to have because i wear my hair up a lot and i like the look. anyway, day goes by I have a headband in because I was doing chores all day. I come home take my headband off and am shocked. I was left with choppy, uneven, way too short bangs. I am not sure how she was able to style them so I couldn't tell when I left the salon, but it's safe to say I will be stuck wearing that very same headband until these grow out to a reasonable length so that I can fix them and they won't be too short. Safe to say this is one of the worst touchups I have ever had and that I will forever be scared to go back into any salon and ask them to touch my bangs ever again. I'm sad to leave, I don't like doing this. This place was recommended by my mom, she saw a different stylist who wasn't available this day , not sure if it would've been a better decision to wait the next day she would be in work or if I should've never came into the salon at all. I was hoping this would be a much better experience, considering their prices are very reasonable and it was a pretty quick cut. But sadly, I have learned my lesson and will probably stick to cutting my own hair despite being FAR from a professional.

One of us was the bride and two of us were bridesmaids. They had enough people on hand to to start the bride and one bridesmaid at the same time, and they took about an hour. I went last and was a bit crunched for time at that point, but was able to get a good hairstyle in about 40 minutes. The stylists were friendly, the prices were FANTASTIC (seriously - $35 for an updo?! I live in California. That's UNHEARD OF. Small-town Minnesota is sure great for some things...) and the place was nice and clean. The stylist even offered to trim my bangs for me while she was at it, and didn't charge me anything extra for that. I can solidly recommend it for wedding hair.

Since I was having it cut really short, they asked me if I had considered donating my hair. I said I was. So they braided my hair, cut off the braids, bagged it for me, and gave me the address to which I could send it (Wigs 4 Kids). I got a fantastic hair cut and will be going back every time I need a trim. They also cut my husband's hair and trimmed his beard and did a fantastic job for him. Everyone was friendly, the salon was clean and neat, and it was a great experience for both of us. I highly recommend them.

When I pointed out the uneven areas she tried fixing it, but acted like she couldn't really tell what I was pointing out. Mind you the whole time my girl was moving at a glacial pace. My hair stylist was very nice but my experience did not meet my expectations. The color is still 2 toned so you can see the grow out color :/ i'll have to get it redone to actually be one color so it was a waste of money. I also noticed when i got home she cut layers uneven.. my left side has layers & the right side does not(which is embarrassing since you can tell when styling my hair). I'm not sure if she just wasn't paying enough attention to compare the 2 sides and make sure everything was even but it was upsetting once i got back home and it was pointed out to me.
