The self serve wash bays are $2.50 to start, the vacuums are $1 and we didn't use the automatic so I can't comment there. One of the bays had huge clobs of mud in it and we couldn't use it, and the trash cans were severely over filled and there was trashed piled around the cans and trash on the ground. It didn't get washed as much as I thought it would, no matter how much I dried it, there was always water spots, the tires were turning brown, I was always wiping the bugs off the windshield. I am back, signed up for the top package. Now I realize how much better the car looks after I run it through the WashU wash. No more water spots, no more dead bug residue on the windshield just a clean shiny car. The car now again feels smooth to the touch, like a fresh waxed car. I guess I learned my lesson.
