We lost my grandma 4/22/2026- scrambling to make plans since she passed in a month of her breaking a couple ribs from a fall. Knowing we had a funeral home already put our mind at ease. David was absolutely wonderful from the time he came to pick her up at her house, to helping with everything and anything that needed to be done or that we needed. He took so much time with us helping with picking out urns and other things we had wanted. Not knowing what we wanted he helped guide us to the perfect things! He truly took his time with us and was supportive through it all. You truly feel like family and they very much do care. I couldn't say enough amazing things about Dunns but especially David. A woman answered the phone and immediately put me on hold. When she came back I explained that I had a couple questions about my dogs cremation. Without saying anything else she said "hold please". She came back and I continued with my questions. She said she would get back to me, took my name and number and just hung up. She was unpleasant and unprofessional. I get it that this was an animal and not a human we were discussing but a little kindness would have gone a long way. When she first answered she had no idea what my question was so I think she needs to be coached to show a little compassion considering where she is working.

We had heavy hearts walking into the funeral home on the day of the wake bc we were afraid to see her. But to our relief she looked like our mom. She looked like the mother we all knew before she got sick. She looked peaceful. It helped make the rest of the day easier. The funeral home is well kept and comfortable.
