I had a good first experience with them after a gushing irrigation pivot was providing a continuous leak. They are a family business run by a father and son. They charged me $85 to come to the house, assess the problem and turn off my system. Backed up with jobs, they took 3 weeks to come back to fix the problem which was fine since it was not a drought season. They have the high tech equipment to locate a leak without a lot of digging. They completed the valve repair and checked my system. They applied the initial $85 house call to the complete repair. (I still thought the final price was higher than others would've charged but felt their work was good and they used good social distancing practices.) So when I experienced a second leak, this time a broken pivot, I called again. This is when I learned their coming out charge is $85 no matter what. They added on $30 to fix a single pivot. The person they sent did not communicate well, wanted to fix other things that were not broken and I was in shock at the $115 sticker price of replacing one broken pivot. In August I had a substantial leak and am left to wonder whether they could've been on top of this or if it was just a coincidence that I had 4 irrigation problems in 4 months with them on the first two jobs. There are lots of cheaper yet quality companies doing irrigation work and I can no longer recommend nor use Image Makers. They say they specialize in yard lighting if that is your "jam" (and money is no object). read more
