When we received our first set of photos for our cabin that was to be posted on Airbnb, they were not exactly what we were expecting. After initial conversation about redoing some of the photos, we were fearful that our concerns were not being heard. Then Kaitlyn, the main photographer and editor, went above and beyond to deliver us a product that met our needs. Smoke n Lenses photography is superb both in style and composition. Kaitlyn explained that she was initially trained in real estate photography and after discussing our needs for Airbnb photography, she was able to flawlessly capture the space in a way that guests would be able to envision themselves staying their for the holidays with their family. This was not easy. Our cabin has ALOT of wood, more than a normal cabin. Getting the right lighting, both in pre and post production is difficult. I was amazed at her superb skill to do so. Kaitlyn and Garett are budding Airbnb photographers with lots of talent and over half a decade of professional photography experience. They care deeply for their business and service to their customers. Being a business owner is tough but rewarding work. It can be very difficult at times due to verbose jerks, like me, who write critical reviews. I am so appreciative of both Kaitlyn and Garett's care and effort to work it out, even when things got escalated. Investors! If you want to increase your ROI and care about creating a quality listing on any booking platform, entrust your photography to Smoke n Lenses.

Her calm presence relaxes me when I am feeling like a frazzled mom who just arrived with her wild kids. My children feel very comfortable with Rebekah and have enjoyed her since the first time she took their pictures. She specializes in newborn, baby, toddler, and children photography. Because of her calm demeanor and creative sets, she is right where she needs to be. I recommend SCP whenever I am asked about local child photographers. I find that she is underpriced for her work/photography/talented editing skills in comparison to other local photographers that I follow on Instagram. Amazing pictures at a great prices with a wonderful photographer sums up our years of experiences with Rebekah/SCP. It is the reason we keep coming back to her year after year. My only wish is that I could afford for her to come on ALL of our vacations, the kids' sporting events, special holidays/birthdays, and be our family photographer. *****The photos taken by SCP/Rebekah and posted by me are visibly clear and soft. They are such a great team and clearly love what they do, putting everyone at ease and capturing absolutely amazing shots. They are so personable and truly care about the people they work with. Even on our cold, cloudy wedding day, they somehow managed to make the photos turn out so beautifully and had them back to us in just a couple of weeks. They were the first of all the wedding vendors/coordinators we worked with who actually broke down the day with what would be happening at each minute, which really put us at ease going into it because we knew exactly what to expect. I would recommend them to anyone who needs photography services, and will definitely work with them in the future if we need pictures taken at any point!

She was wonderful to plan with, and had dozens of suggestions. The day of, the road to the spot we had picked out was closed, and I was horrified and panicked. She immediately identified a backup spot, and met us there. She waited in the cold (this was during Thanksgiving week 2017 at 5am, it was COLD) for me to propose, for about 40 minutes, as I wanted to catch the sunrise. The pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY. The sun waited to rise until after I had gotten cold and impatient, and popped the question. She took more time to get photos with the sun in the background, and those were gorgeous. I cannot speak highly enough of Sarah, and her work. She is a sweet person, and truly loves what she does. It just so happens she is really damn good at it too. Family Pastor was able to get in touch with us on April 20, 2 days after paying the deposit. When called to let him now we wouldn't be needing him, was informed we would not get our deposit back. No refunds within 30 days of the ceremony. Meaning it didnt matter we had just booked 2 days ago, because we booked 26 days before the wedding, meant he would and did keep the entire deposit. Thanks Jim. With a small budget, paying for the wedding ourselves, we really could have used that money elsewhere.
