This is my go-to music store, whether it's buying something for myself or my son…read more Sure, it's a little disorganized, but I always just ask for help and they usually grab what I'm looking for and bring it to the counter so I don't actually have to do any real shopping. They always seem to have a great selection of brand new instruments, I have bought a couple of different instruments from them over the years and have never been unsatisfied. I really like that they have a layaway option. It's a great way to encourage people to buy from them who might not have the money upfront for the instrument/gear they want. In short here are the pro's and cons. Pros: Great selection, Great Customer service, and layaway option for large purchases. Locally owned business. Cons: Store is disorganized. Might be hard to just browse.

He showed up on time and did a good job…read more As my piano hadn't been tuned in a long time, he provided the option of a longer one time tuning or two separate tuning sessions one month apart. Given that the price difference was minimal and that it would have been easier for him to do a single session instead of coming here twice, I appreciate that he recommended the separate sessions to give the piano time to settle before subsequent fine tuning. He also recommended an in-piano dehumidifier as my location is very humid (which is true) and there are visible signs of moisture damage inside the piano. I appreciate that he informed me of this, but without being pushy about it.

The string replacement and tuning were both first-rate, and Ramin took the time to explain what he was doing and why, which I appreciated more than I expected to. Genuinely nice guy, easy to talk to, and clearly knows his craft inside and out. He even showed up with some homemade snacks his wife had made, which was a lovely touch and says a lot about the kind of people you're dealing with here. If you need a piano tuner, especially under pressure, you're in good hands with Ramin. Highly recommend.

I'm so happy with the repair Arvin did on my KAWAI piano!…read more The fallboard was accidentally damaged and a piece of the black polyester finish, about 1/3 of the size of a fingernail, was completely chipped off. Since the piano has a beautiful high-gloss black finish, I was really worried that even after repairing it, I would still be able to see where the damage had been. My piano tuner recommended Arvin to me, and I'm very glad he did. Arvin did an amazing job! When I got the fallboard back, I honestly couldn't even find the spot that had been repaired. The color and shine match perfectly, and it looks just like the original finish. You can really tell Arvin knows what he's doing. His workmanship and attention to detail are excellent. I'm very happy with the result and would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs piano finish repair or restoration.
