The water was dripping I guess in the shower long enough where it leaves that slimy film....well that has been there for over a week. The hair tie in the picture below was there for 2-3 weeks. Today was a new hair clump. I guess I'll just have to get up earlier and go out of my way to go to the Mint hill location that is not like this.

I love the format -…read moreclasses for 12, direct adjustment from instructors when needed and a clean and calm place to work on my strength. I had encouragement early on in my journey from the staff directly via text and got tips on the best way to schedule. All classes start and end on time. I have taken classes from 5 different instructors and they are all very well trained and give a consistent workout. Because the classes are small (12 people) it may be hard to get in, so i suggest the unlimited class membership. You can easily book out classes for a few weeks and you can also waitlist for classes. I know there are some reviews about issues with getting into classes on a month to month basis. I think it's worth the upgrade to unlimited. I have had ZERO issues booking classes. The staff is available for any questions. I highly recommend Club Pilates South Charlotte.

The customer service I've experienced at other gyms has been exponentially better than at this location. I'm personally there just to workout so if it was just once or twice then okay, but I've observed it on multiple occasions. As someone who did a lot of PR/Marketing and knows a lot about customer service, I find it very off-putting, strange, and unprofessional. They're very selective about who they are friendly to, often stand in or leave pads in your way, and at times quite obviously go out of their way to be rude. At every other location I've been to I've made friends with the trainers, they actually want you to do well, and even after I've left the gyms we are friends on social media and chat. The atmosphere at this location in the other hand presents itself as being very emotionally immature and childish.

Some machines are broken and have been for months I have even personally seen it go a year before he will do anything about it. I am paying for a membership and I don't think it's too much to ask to have working equipment. Also I notice today that the AED hasn't been serviced since 2016 so I sure hope nobody has a medical emergency. I am also planning to report this to the proper governing agency. If you are looking for a place with great staff and great members this is the place but expect a lot of dangerous broken equipment that will not be fixed anytime soon

The catch, loose 20lbs or 5% body fat and get your money back, or put it towards the membership next month which is almost $600 a mth. I signed up anyway motivated. Knowing realistically loosing 20lbs in 6 weeks wasn't healthy. I was going to try hard anyway. I didn't have $500 to really part with to begin with. But that's not even my major disappointment. The disappointment comes from the lack of accountability to the challenge members. I excepted more that to be given and meal plan and told come work out 3 days a week. I could have gotten a meal plan of Pinterest and just worked out myself. I never had one meeting, I had a busy week at work one week. Not one text or call checking for me. Yes I would expect that in a bootcamp Challenge. Not one weekly weigh in or consultation. It was week 5 before they had asked me if I had weighed in. Week 6 was another busy week at work. Not one call. Are you coming? How was the challenge? Coming to finish your last week? Are you considering joining us full time? Nothing. Ended what I think was week 5 and I haven't been back since and there went my $500.

Faith - the instructor here is amazing. She's so sweet and personable and I would visit her studio…read moreshould she ever decide to open her own in the Charlotte area. Great with correcting forms and making sure you're doing movements correctly to avoid injuries/strains. On the other hand - the owner or manager, im not too sure who she was, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I visited this establishment via ClassPass as I have been using ClassPass in the Charlotte area for a few months now... and it's always gone seamlessly. However, the second I walk through the doors of this place h the manager, yells across the studio, to Faith, to "make the ClassPass announcement". Come to find out that BK Pilates has ended their contract with ClassPass and will no longer accept ClassPass reservations. (Okay that's fine, my reservation was made prior to the ending of their contract so I was good). But when another individual walked through the door, she had Also made her reservation via ClassPass but I'm guessing not before BK Pilates ended their contract and so the woman was not on the class list. Faith goes over to the manager to explain the situation and the manager responds in a very loud voice, to the point where the customer waiting, can obviously hear her about how she's not taking ClassPass and she can either pay for the class individually or leave. Never spoke to the customer.. NOT ONCE. After Faith had to go back and forth a few times, the customer ended up leaving as she wasn't expecting to have to pay for the class out of pocket. Once the customer left I overheard the manager, refer to the customer as a "b*tch", in the terms of "that b*tch can go". Oh and to add, this manager also, yelled across the studio to tell, what looked like a very loyal customer, that her credit card payment had been declined and she needed another one. SO unprofessional - I couldn't even believe it. It made me so uncomfortable and I will NEVER be returning here. Unless Faith is running the studio. I don't have an issue with the studio cancelling their contract with ClassPass as I can see how that could cause issues/a hassle. But I have an issue with the way the manager, owner, or whoever she was, treated ALL customers, not just ClassPass customers. Terrible. Don't come here.
