The 24/7 communication was laughable, including getting my name confused with my sisters. She suffered for 10 days in Hospice under my inexpert care with only a short nursing visit every other day. It was the single worst experience of my life and my heart breaks for how she spent her last days. I will need therapy after going through this.

They treated the residents with gentleness and respect. The care team are well-trained and committed to doing their jobs. At other places, the care team are on their cell phones and ignore the residents. My mother moved to The Hearth from Sunrise at Haverford and The Hearth provided much more attentive care, more engaging activities, and much higher-quality food. It is clean and in good repair. Overall, they cared for my mom very well even though she passed away just a few months after moving in. I'm glad I moved her even for the brief time. She received excellent care at the Hearth.
