Overall, I'd say this place is decent. It offers started seafood fare with prime views of ocean. We ordered the calamari which were fine. A bit bland for me, although it's cooked in a way many restaurants do. I ADORED the roasted peppers though. Perfectly charred and seasoned. No notes. The paella was also ok. Nothing special. I will caution people with buying the paella, as it is priced unconventionally. When ordering a paella, you're forced to buy one portion A PERSON. One portion is about $35, so we ended up spending $70+ on paella we didn't need. You have no choice on this matter. They will charge you $35 per person at the table. I think it's strange to price paella per head. So please read the menu carefully! read more

Really enjoyed this place! We got the salmon for appetizer and wish we went with the artichoke as it became a lot with the steak. It all was delicious and the service was great. We had a reservation but seems you could do walk in. The ambiance is incredible as it's in the middle of a Cala, any table is perfect and romantic! We went around 5:30 and sunset was around 7 so got to see some of it! read more

This has to be one of the most beautiful places on the island. Every seat has a lovely view. Fortunately we were sat right by the water. We started with a burata salad and some cocktails followed with paella! It was nice, but maybe the shrimp was a tad undercooked for my liking. I'd definitely come back for the view alone! read more

I cannot stop praising the amazing views this restaurant has to offer. I recently tried Illeta for dinner with a friend. We did not have a reservation however we got lucky to get a table despite them being so busy! We also got lucky with a good table offering beautiful sunset views. I wanted to try their paella however they mentioned that sadly it could only be shared amongst 2 people and my friend wanted to try seafood options. We ordered sharable gyozas for the table. I ordered a grilled vegetable plate and my friend tried a ceviche. I'm really surprised with the negative reviews as we really enjoyed our food choices. You can never really go wrong with gyozas. There were roasted tomatoes, baby corn, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, and bok choy.I was satiated with my colourful plate of veggies. We paired our food with a glass of Chardonnay and margaritas. The drinks were good too! We ordered a panna cotta in the end for desert. It was sour as it was a lemon panna cotta which I never tried before, very good if you prefer tarty deserts. Overall, please try to reserve this place ahead of time for dinner to enjoy beautiful sunset views and a good meal. Must visit if you are in Mallorca! read more

The location of this restaurant and the views it has to offer are fantastic. My friends and I made a reservation for lunch and were seated close to the edge of the patio with stunning views of the water. You can access the restaurant via the bridge from the beach or via boat. We got a few dishes to share and some cocktails. The paella was served right in front of us and was very salty; I love salt so this was not a problem for me, but others thought it was too much. The rib eye was dry and disappointing. The salad with cheese on top was INCREDIBLE. By far the best dish we got. A close second was the bread with garlic aioli; this was to die for. Overall, we had a lovely lunch overlooking a beautiful view, but the food was not stellar enough to make me return the next time I'm in Mallorca. Would recommend coming here once for the experience. read more

Had reservations and still had to wait in line for food because of stupid overcrowding and the only way to get to this place is by a skinny walkway in a crowded beach. 10 minutes of my life wasted. The waiter was very nice but gave me a broken menu, which was fine. Appetizers came impressively fast and the seagulls were very entertaining for me but the steak I ordered took 45 minutes. The waiter also tried to give me a Sprite that I did not order at all. The steak had too much fat and was not cooked well done like how I asked. The steak came back shortly and it was still a bit red but it was good enough for a few pieces and it tasted great. This place has some minor inconveniences but overall I enjoyed my experience. I would like to give it -10 stars. Just don't go there. Apart from the very bad food, the service is bottomless. We had ordered a paella. The appetizer plates were still on the table. Only on request did reasonably sized plates arrive. they didn't ask if the food tasted good or if we wanted another drink. When we paid, we pointed out the poor service and the only reply was that they had a lot to do and that we weren't the only guests. Very poor. Apart from the pictures you can take in front of the restaurant, it is less than recommendable!!! They don't deserve any money read more

Good view. Everything else was pretty bad. We were told there was a 30 min wait which ended up being an hour and 10 min wait. Half of that time we were standing in the sun. Then they gave us a table where half our party were sitting in the sun. The artichokes were good but the paella was seriously the WORST I have ever had. Super greasy and salty. One person ordered a salad that was mid at best. The service was pretty bad too. If you must have the experience of eating there make sure you make a reservation, get a drink and an appetizer, take a couple of pics, and then go for a swim in the beautiful water. Absolutely shocking experience at this restaurant. Every time I share this story with people they are shocked and disgusted. I travelled far for this restaurant. Upon arrival to the beach, I walked up to try and secure a spot for later that evening if it was available and the host said there should be availability around 6pm and to return. So I did. Slightly earlier but didn't find the host. I did have a waiter assist as I was standing there for some time. He offered a table at the entrance and I kindly asked for a better spot and said I wouldn't be long. He then checked the front prime location and said follow me. With a kind smile he said this is your table. I sat in excitement on my own and happy that I snapped the location before peak dinner. I excitedly started to review the menu and make choices as I promised I would fine quickly. Until a waiter approached and said dos ( two ) or uno ( one )? And I smiled back and said uno. I continued to look at my menu which he then shortly approached me again and said who sat you here? Get up and come with me. Shocked.. I was like what ? Pointed and demanding I follow him back to the front. So I got up. Followed and he said, show me who sat you here. I was so shocked and said I can't believe you think I would walk into a restaurant and choose a seat. He insisted he wanted to know who sat me at the table and I searched the waiter. Still shocked that the team can't communicate I said the gentlemen with light brown hair and tattoos sat me down but he is not here at the moment from what I can see. They then realised who it was after I described him and the waiter spoke to the host in Spanish and abruptly walked off. The host said wait here. At this stage I am embarrassed and in tears. There was no line or reservations for that area. Just because I am solo and won't order a palea for two ( which I assume would make them more money - make a palea for 1 person.. I would pay ) I am an absolute foodie who will order lots of food to try and pay for good food. . But I was horrified at the way I was treated after I had to confirm who sat me down. The host then cleared a table at the back and said ' I have the perfect table' without allowing him to finish his sentence I was not happy. I insisted on that table which was not occupied, I insisted on an apology for embarrassing me and that he wouldn't serve me. He said he won't apologise but yes ofcourse have the table after he saw how upset I was. If you saw how upset I was why shove me in the back? Why do I, as a customer need to prove myself. Communicate guys. How is this acceptable ? I was eventually given the table ( I didn't want to dine there after that .. clearly. But I needed to prove him wrong and stay on purpose ) you can't treat customers like that. He came back to take my order and I didn't look at him whilst I ordered my drink. He then said well it looks like you don't want me to serve you ... CLEARLY! I confirmed I told the host that I didn't after the way you spoke to me. Which to then I told him that he should apologise because that behaviour and lack of communication amongst staff members and the behaviour was disgusting and not my fault. He then said I was disgusting. So I told him to f#ck off :). Language was not mt usual vocab but if you treat people like shit. You will be given shit. Another waitress served me, not with great care but did the job. I tried my best to enjoy my meal and drink. He unfortunately had to help my waitress serve my food but atleast he had to work and serve me. If I was asking for a table that was unavailable or are that had reservations waiting. Fair enough. If the staff hasn't put me there in the first place. Fair enough. But you don't demand customers to stand and show who say you down ? Really ? Come on guys. The audacity. Food was tasty, the passion fruit mojito was great but the staff and unapologetic and terrible management skills was unseen and never heard of. read more

Great spot and wonderful views from any table. You must have a reservation or know someone however, because it is always full. The paella was terrific. The Kava sangria was delicious. Mussels were good. Sole also good. Would go again just for the fabulous view and cool location . . . past the beach and over a bridge to get there. Very unique. read more

The only reasons this restaurant even gets one star is that 1) the view is unique and spectacular, and 2) the sangria is delicious. My family of four arrived at Illeta before it got busy, and was seated right away. We ordered drinks, bread (not only do they charge for bread per person, they also charge for the butter) and a carpaccio starter. 5 minutes later, we ordered entrees. Our drinks and bread came in a timely manner. The sangria was excellent, the bread ordinary. The carpaccio came a bit later and was an extremely skimpy portion compared to what you get at most restaurants. But, it was fine. This was a meal prior to spending time sight-seeing. A party of 12 British people came in, and we were asked to move our table over so they could fit. No biggie. Except...we never got our entrees. We watched as everyone around us, including the entire party of twelve who we moved our table for, got their entrees. Over an hour and fifteen minutes since we ordered, and by the way - the server was avoiding eye contact so impossible to flag down subtly. He never once - nor did anyone else - come to our table to explain why we had not gotten our food. So much for having time to sight-see. Our drinks were empty and we were never asked if we wanted more. I would have asked to cancel the entrees and just pay for what we'd already consumed, but no one came. I figured what we had already spent was about 30 euros, and if I'd had that I would have just left it on the table but only had a fifty. Finally, I told my family to go ahead and go to shore and I would go find someone to give us the check. I went to the bar area and found someone (the manager?) to whom I explained our situation and asked him to tell me what we owed. He said more than once "your food is ready now", while I kept saying "my family has already left". He said "sorry, sorry"...and finally when he realized I was not going to take the food that was now ready, brought me a bill for everything we'd eaten. Honestly was astounded we got a bill at all (28 euros) but at that point just wanted to get out of there and join my family on shore. We went to the ice cream shop across the way and just had ice cream for lunch. Only bad dining experience we've had in Mallorca. Hopefully if you eat here for the view, you'll be treated better. read more

I came here with my parents at 2:30pm to have waited an hour for our food to arrive and when we asked the waiter how long it would be we were told "it's coming" which wasn't a comforting answer. If he had said over 30 mins we were going to ask to cancel it and leave but low and behold it came 10 minutes after asking. The food was average- nothing exciting for the expensive prices! You're basically paying your the view and even then you aren't guaranteed table where you can see the view... Our view was a tree... Personally I don't think it's worth it, save your money. There's plenty of restaurants around it where you get a good view of the beach, service is good and are reasonably priced!! read more
