I cannot stop praising the amazing views this restaurant has to offer. I recently tried Illeta for dinner with a friend. We did not have a reservation however we got lucky to get a table despite them being so busy! We also got lucky with a good table offering beautiful sunset views. I wanted to try their paella however they mentioned that sadly it could only be shared amongst 2 people and my friend wanted to try seafood options. We ordered sharable gyozas for the table. I ordered a grilled vegetable plate and my friend tried a ceviche. I'm really surprised with the negative reviews as we really enjoyed our food choices. You can never really go wrong with gyozas. There were roasted tomatoes, baby corn, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, and bok choy.I was satiated with my colourful plate of veggies. We paired our food with a glass of Chardonnay and margaritas. The drinks were good too! We ordered a panna cotta in the end for desert. It was sour as it was a lemon panna cotta which I never tried before, very good if you prefer tarty deserts. Overall, please try to reserve this place ahead of time for dinner to enjoy beautiful sunset views and a good meal. Must visit if you are in Mallorca!

The location of this restaurant and the views it has to offer are fantastic. My friends and I made a reservation for lunch and were seated close to the edge of the patio with stunning views of the water. You can access the restaurant via the bridge from the beach or via boat. We got a few dishes to share and some cocktails. The paella was served right in front of us and was very salty; I love salt so this was not a problem for me, but others thought it was too much. The rib eye was dry and disappointing. The salad with cheese on top was INCREDIBLE. By far the best dish we got. A close second was the bread with garlic aioli; this was to die for. Overall, we had a lovely lunch overlooking a beautiful view, but the food was not stellar enough to make me return the next time I'm in Mallorca. Would recommend coming here once for the experience.

    Very salty seafood platter.

All the 1 star comment ratings are 100 percent accurate. Food was salty some food never arrived to our table. The seafood platter very salty. Only this the view was outstanding. Waited long time for table then to get served.

    The view.

Had reservations and still had to wait in line for food because of stupid overcrowding and the only way to get to this place is by a skinny walkway in a crowded beach. 10 minutes of my life wasted. The waiter was very nice but gave me a broken menu, which was fine. Appetizers came impressively fast and the seagulls were very entertaining for me but the steak I ordered took 45 minutes. The waiter also tried to give me a Sprite that I did not order at all. The steak had too much fat and was not cooked well done like how I asked. The steak came back shortly and it was still a bit red but it was good enough for a few pieces and it tasted great. This place has some minor inconveniences but overall I enjoyed my experience. Would recommend.

Amazing experience. Such a pretty location and great food!

We were a party of 6 and they took us upstairs through what felt like a maze of tables and parties enjoying wine and tapas. I already had fallen in love with the ambiance that felt cozy and intimate. We were seated and proceeded to order a ton of starters. One of the highlights were the oytsers which were dressed with shrimp, the pan con tomate, the burrata salad and the cochinillo main. Wow. That pork was divine, and we all agreed it was the star of the night. Our friendly server also recommended two different wines - a white from the area and a red. Both were great and perfect pairings with our meal. We ended with dessert which was torrejas and a homemade strawberry ice cream. I loved them both. Would definitely put this spot on your list when in Palma. It's in the walkable area of town so pop in and explore before and after.

I ordered the beef tartar which was highly recommended & this was a first for me. The flavors were out of this world & perfectly seasoned. I also tried the suckling pig (very juicy, nice crispy outside & tender inside with wonderful flavor) which sat on top of thinly sliced potatoes & came with a side salad. I was extremely satisfied & would love to go back to try other dishes. I HIGHLY recommend this excellent restaurant!

The restaurant is amongst tightly knit apartments; there is a sign with a menu outside, but have to traverse a few flights of stairs to get to the entrance. Parking-wise, in winter there's space to park literally outside the restaurant here in Camp de Mar, but in summer I anticipate that you'll be parking well up the road for perhaps a five minute walk unless you get lucky. Firstly the restaurant is open in both summer and winter (winter is 19:00 - 22:00 weekdays and weekends which is when we went) and the waiters speak both English and Spanish fluently. Secondly, the food is fantastic. Come here if you want to try something genuinely different - the food is all served in a variety of ways (from a fish hung upside down on a mini washing line with mini pegs to fish mixed with vegetables served in a shell atop a box of dry ice). The food is well cooked and delicious and the chef has some great recipes up his sleeve. It wasn't too expensive either, more towards the 30 euros per person mark - five of us had a mixture of probably five or six different Tapas (of which the aforementioned dishes were included) and, apart from being absolutely stuffed by the end, had paid 180 euros (which included drinks and a bottle of red wine). Flor de Sal is great for groups or romantic dinners; I'd say it's a pretty cosy restaurant seating maybe 50 at a completely arbitrary guess. We didn't have to book and I haven't before, but they do have a number on their website that you can call in case it gets busy in the summer. All-in-all, definitely an experience to try at least once when you visit Camp de Mar, and I'm looking forward to returning next time I'm around here.
