I've been ordering shares from Iliamna for 10 years. Their product is always outstanding. I appreciate Nathan delivering and look forward to pickup every year. We never lack premium quality salmon in our home and enjoy a fillet every week. I won't live without their catch!

Full and half portion fillets.

Great food at a good price. The Ensenada style taco camarones was amazing. Drinks were good also.

Ok. Those who know my reviews probably already know that I love seafood and visiting Portland, so…read moreit'll be no surprise that I've found a new restaurant to love. That said, this may be a new favorite. I walked two miles from the Marriott Bidwell and crossed the Willamette River to come here (an added bonus: I love how walkable Portland is). The restaurant is low-key and ultra-casual with patio and bar dining. I went for the bar, since that is usually the best option for interaction when dining solo on a work trip. Great choice: Alex the bartender and the folks seated at the bar were super-friendly. Now the food... holy moly! Fantastic oysters (I have to have oysters whenever I come to the PNW)! Briny, sweet and delicious, with a tasty garlic mignonette. Next up: Spot Prawn Crudo in a coconut lime "milk" with red onions. Tender, complex and delicious. Now, the main course was probably the best steelhead I've ever had. Sustainably sourced from an indigenous-owned farm in Washington. It was incredibly Buttery, with rich umami... perfect! I came will an Asian-style kale slaw and coconut sesame rice. The chili crisp oil topping put it over the top. This place was perfect. I will be back.

LOVE the fish tacos, fish & chips, oysters and other dishes in the past. We recently tried a new or seasonal dish. I think it was watermelon, mint and octopus? Which very tasty.. the amount of octopus was such a small amount that the $20 for the dish felt like we were cheated. I joked that we didn't even get a tentacle worth.

It's not cheap but that's the current chaotic economy poor working class is stuck with nowadays! I appreciate the sufficient order to pick up wait time at the window. All breading is gluten free. Flaky, thin, and well seasoned halibut! I'm not a fan of coleslaw, yet loved their flavor and freshness of it. I could tell it wasn't sitting around soggy at all. Few outside benches for the lucky good weather day I visited. Cozy indoor tables for rainy PNW weather with small yet enough variety deli options and offerings everything seafood. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff answered all my questions about their supply and shipment of each type of fish they use for fish & chip. I told a staff at the deli counter I wish they considered offer fish ceviche in the future. They have one stall restroom inside. Street parking all around the area. I'm on the search for fish & chip replacement spot in PDX area since my favor go to spot in Newport shows their ugly side in this polarized climate. Will definitely come back whenever I crave fish & chip and definitely for special occasion since I can't afford to eat out often with each meal around $30 plus 20% tip, and since I stopped going to the Newport location in November 2024 and while I continue to check out other fish & chip in metro PDX. Plus I hate using so much oil and prep time to make fish at chip at home.

I ordered the fried oysters and paid extra to add one piece of halibut. When I asked for tartar…read moresauce, I was told I had to pay an additional 75 cents. I explained that since I had ordered a piece of fish, I assumed tartar sauce would come with it. The man's response was very rude. He told me, "You shouldn't assume, because it's not." I understand that restaurants may have a charge for extra sauces, and I have no problem paying for something if that's the policy. What bothered me was the way he spoke to me. It's not the 75 cents that prompted me to write this review--it's the unnecessary attitude and lack of basic customer service. A simple, polite explanation would have made a big difference. Food was very good. Would have 5 stars.

I have also gotten frozen shrimp and bay scallops, both of which have been excellent. The bay scallops, like the clams, are almost impossible to find in the PNW - but they have them and they are fresh. Also, a shout out to the employees - they are always very friendly. Note that they also run specials (I believe all the time) on about 3 items at a time. Last time I was in, they had four varieties of oysters at $1 per.

When pregnancy cravings KILL!!!…read more As first-time customers, we weren't sure how it all worked at first. While standing in line, we browsed the digital menu behind the counter. We knew what we'd come for (lobstah!), and assumed we'd order once we made it up to the counter. However, as we waited our turn, one of the employees started shouting at us from behind a cooler. Between the distance, white noise and a slight language barrier, we weren't sure why we were being yelled at. Eventually the woman at the register clarified what we needed: one Maine lobster. How many lbs? We said two. The woman who had shouted at us confirmed our order from her co-worker, and returned with two, 2-lb Maine lobsters: a slight miscommunication. She reached into the bag, grabbed the luckier of the two, and put him back in the tank. The less fortunate one returned home with us, to satisfy my wife's pregnancy cravings! The employees could be a bit friendlier, but the seafood couldn't be much fresher!

Their wine bar is fantastic, and good-priced, and it was fun to watch the last of the World Cup here today. If you're looking for something special or hard to find, this is the place, much like the old Pastaworks was on Hawthorne. They really shine on their produce, pasta and fresh meats here, and there's always something new, but I love that you can count on the bakery for your focaccia and other fresh breads. Cheese case is like Rue Cler, Paris--so much selection and they will tell you about each one of them. Don't be afraid to just ask a lot of questions. I wish that they did some little items in the bakery, one of my fondest memories from childhood was going to Pastaworks with my dad and getting a breadstick, probably eating it before we even paid (we did), as we strolled around, and where's the peanut sauce for pasta, another favorite of the old days, yup, I'm old. Can't say enough good things about this place, it can add up though as others have mentioned, but, if you keep to a list or just slow the roll on the impulse buy, it's actually reasonable and you know you're getting what you're paying for. I've never regretted a purchase here or thought it unfair. I mean, it says Fine Foods right there in the name...:) Thank you for the amazing ingredients for dinner tonight, cheers!
