We recently moved and had to leave this center. We are devastated - we loved it so so much. My 2.5 year old work her way up to the 2s room from the infant room and my 4 month old was just starting the infant room. As a new mom I really leaned on their expertise to help guide schedules, potty training, learning solids. They really did much more than just watch my kids, they taught me as well. They have very routine days which I think really helped my 2.5 y.o. thrive. They set very basic "rules" for the kids to follow that are achievable like making the kids change to indoor shoes as they enter the classroom. They empower the kids to do things on their own and talk to them with respect. We miss the extra curricular programs a lot. They brought in weekly music and yoga teachers from outside providers. I also miss that they took the kids on walks every day instead of just a playground associated to the center. I think this really helped my little get comfortable on city street and learn to stay close to us, hold our hand at cross walks, etc. I found this center very consistent and believe that has a lot of impact on developing young minds. Our two daughters attended iLearn for a total of 8 years, until they each started kindergarten. We loved our experience! The teachers were all kind and caring, our girls learned a lot and thrived with the routines and structure of the day. Our whole family felt well-cared for at iLearn. read more

Unfortunately since the director left earlier in the year the management leaves a lot to be desired - and that's being kind. A toddler teacher left and it took them months to replace her, yet management advised of a tuition increase of $125 more a month claiming it is to "keep up the quality of teachers and facility" while they still didn't have a replacement. Then when they found a new teacher they didn't share any background information about her (show me a legitimate daycare that doesn't include information of their staff if not on the website at the very least in the facility). And when I enquired about it, the director and owner told me it was private information that they couldn't share. And this is just a couple examples of how this place is run. I have many more. All of this is the result of an owner that is completely absent, literally, she's based in Florida. It seems that all she cares about is collecting money. Because of the owner, we didn't trust keeping our child there and moved her. It's really too bad because this place was wonderful with the old director. read more

We have been at iLearn for 2 years, since my son was 14 weeks. Words cannot express all the gratitude that I have for this place. This place is extremely well organized, extremely clean. Even with COVID, Ms. Julia does an excellent job instituting protocols - for cleaning, pick up/droff off, etc. Since our son went from Day one, he was extremely well cared for and loved. He was slower than others in his gross motor development (crawling, walking), and the teachers were diligent in doing daily exercises with him. They also serve both organic breakfast and lunch - which is rare for daycares. They are so attentive to every since child and his/her needs; conscientious of celebrating every milestone, holiday, and overall so friendly and pleasant. It's an extremely nurturing and loving environment. We are only leaving because we are moving to the burbs. We will miss this place dearly. You will not be disappointed here. read more

This is a WONDERFUL daycare center! As a first time Mom, I did what any other first time parent would do and researched thousands of locations before settling on a few to see in person. Of all the locations my husband and I visited, this one immediately put us at ease and made us feel like our baby would be in great care. The facility is clean and the infant room has tons of colorful toys and mats for the babies to crawl around. I especially loved that the teachers provided a lot of engagement to help our little one develop (music time, tummy time, puppets, etc.) My son began here at 3 months and while the first day was hard (on mom) - the teachers in the infant room were there with warm smiles, tissues and assurances that he would be fine. Seeing how much the teachers cared for him made my transition back to work a lot easier. Every day he would kick and smile with excitement when he would get there. I cannot say enough good things about this facility, the director, and the teachers there. This place is truly a hidden gem being on the newer side - once word gets out, it will fill up quickly! This is hands down THE BEST daycare center!!! The staff is amazing, the facility is big and clean, and I just can't say enough good things about iLearn Center. My daughter started here when she was 5 months old and everyday she was welcomed with warm smiles and open arms (and that is HUGE especially with children with separation anxiety). It meant so much that I felt good and comfortable leaving my child in their care... there were times when she didn't want to leave! I wish we didn't move to San Antonio because my husband and I miss ILearn Center sooooo much. Other daycares just don't even come close to this daycare. I know my daughter misses them as well (and the director even emailed us after we moved to see how our daughter was doing!- they truly care for the children with all of their heart). We have been at iLearn center for 3.5 years, since our son was 12 weeks old. The kids are extremely well cared for and loved. Our son has loved coming to daycare every day - we have never had any issues with separation; in fact, more often than not, he would not want to leave at the end of the day. As babies, they are hitting their milestones with their various activities- music class, yoga class, sign language, and as the kids grow older, the education and activities are fantastic. Our three-year-old blows everyone away with his vocabulary and behavior. It was so easy to start our infant daughter in daycare earlier this year because we knew how well she would be taken care of. The hours are great - later pickup than most other daycares in the city - and the staff is extremely attentive and flexible. And they truly love the kids. The facility itself is big, nice, and clean. There are plenty of areas and activities for the kids to grow and learn. We are leaving soon because we are moving to the suburbs, and not being able to continue at iLearn is hands down the worst part of moving. We are so sad to not see our friends and teachers every day but know we'll have a lasting connection. We love iLearn! read more

iLearn Center is a treasure. A friend recommended iLearn to us when we moved to Chicago, and we were there from when my child was about 1 until 3.5. From the very first day, I was continually impressed by how well-run, clean, and nurturing the center was. Some of the stand-outs are the loving, caring, super sweet staff members; Julia, the director, who runs a tight ship and is incredibly organized, but also very warm and kind, yoga classes, music classes, and instruction in Russian and Spanish. The children always seemed content, happy, and amazingly well-behaved. The classroom behavior management is superb, and the teachers use structure, positive reinforcement, and setting the children up well for success. There are clear expectations, good communication, and many fun activities. I cannot say enough good things. We only left due to a move to the suburbs. I have confidently recommended iLearn to many friends. read more

This new day care and preschool really is a hidden gem. As a first time mom, I was really nervous about sending my three month old to all-day daycare. Tatiana and her team were absolutely fantastic and re-assuring about having our little one in their care. The location on Ashland is fantastic, with a dedicated loading zone which makes dropping off and picking up your little ones a breeze, especially during the (mild) winter we've been having. Since the daycare location is still pretty brand new, most people haven't learned about how fantastic it is yet - which means more one-on-one attention for my nugget. However, once word gets out how great everything is, it's going to fill up quick! read more

We've been so happy with the care and attentiveness that our daughter has received since she started at iLearn as an infant. She is now in the toddler room and she is learning so many new things each day. She is exposed to so many new types of experiences through sensory play, art projects, yoga, story time, songs, music, puzzles and playtime with friends. There is plenty of space for them to run around and the rooms are impeccably clean. The only problem is that she has so much fun that she doesn't want to come home at the end of the day! read more

Update from 6/13/21: After 3 years, we moved and left iLearn. By and large, we felt good about the daycare except for the handling of two incidents I will outline below. Their hours and open days were phenomenal for two working parents with crazy schedules, and we felt at ease most of the time dropping him off. The teachers were welcoming and our son adjusted well. However, my son was injured badly twice while at iLearn and the handling of both incidents were not great, hence the one star removal. My son was around 15 months old during the first incident when he fell into a metal door frame (the only area the center said they could not baby proof), splitting open the skin below his left nostril and leaving a gash on his nose. They did not call us when the incident happened and decided he did not need stitches even though the wound appeared to be pretty deep and absolutely needed a doctor to look at it. We took him to the doctor the next morning out of concern and were told stitches were a possibility but that he would be OK without them. Today, he is left with a scar. The second incident was recent when he was just shy of 3 years old. He came home with a large and painful-looking bruise on the left side of his mouth coupled with a superficial scratch from his ear to the bruise. By the shape of the wound, he clearly fell into a table or something similar. Inside of his mouth, you could tell that he bit down hard on the inside of his mouth, and he was left with a gash. His face mask was covered in blood when we removed it. No one at the daycare could tell us what happened, which was very concerning and completely unacceptable. He healed up fine from the accident, but it was extremely unnerving not to know what happened and to not know if anyone was paying attention enough to help him when it happened. read more

Can't say enough wonderful things about this daycare. Our toddler as been there since she was 4 months old. She looks forward to going to school every weekday. Their staff is incredibly organized and nurturing. Perfect atmosphere to put us at ease as far as childcare goes. As a mother and full time worker, I had to look for the best care for my four kids. Needless to say, I found it! Thanks to the recommendation of a great friend, I was able to take my kids to the location on Laramie. Where the teachers work hard to make sure my kids are taken care of and that they learn new things everyday. I was very skeptical about them at first, but once you talk to the staff and the director, they are all so nice and cordial. They make sure to tell you how they will be taking care of your kids. This is an amazing daycare! Being first time parents, we had a lot of questions and concerns about daycare in general, but iLearn immediately put our concerns at ease. Julia, the director, is great! She was always available for questions and very responsive, as well as very attentive to all of the kids in the center. The teachers in the infant room are amazing! Every day, our son would enter the room with a big smile on his face and when we would pick him up he'd still be smiling. I knew our son was being loved throughout the day, with cuddles and hugs and individual playtime with the teachers. It's one thing to be able to care for children, it's another to do it with genuine love for the children! I also really liked the app the center uses for updates and pictures throughout the day and the enrichment days (yoga and music class) were a hit with our son. We were so sad to leave this daycare when we moved, but we are so happy we found it when we were living in the city. read more

Our son was here for a few months prior to us transferring to my work's daycare. We loved iLearn so much and miss it. The teachers are so loving and caring. Our son hit his milestones so quickly because the daycare is so interactive and provides so much stimulation (yoga, music, story time, etc). It is also very clean- we were told to expect that he would get sick often in daycare, but he didn't get sick once at iLearn. If our situation at my employer changes, we would certainly come back. Great place! Our son went here for 2 years (age 1 to 3) until we had to move for my husband's work. The teachers are so caring and wonderful with the kids. They provide great activities...gymnastics...music class..etc. for the kids to engage in. My son loved going there and is having a hard time adjusting to his new daycare. My son started in the iLearn infant room at 4 months old. As a first time mom I was so worried about leaving him with strangers. Well, my mind was quickly put at ease with the quality of care he received. The teachers genuinely care about the kids and keep them engaged throughout the day. Ms. Diana and Ms. Nataliya were so wonderful. I would get app updates on everything my son ate, when he slept and how many diapers he went through. Plus, the teachers would send me pictures of my son dancing in music class, "working" on an art project and enjoying a walk outside on a beautiful day. As a germaphobe, I appreciated that the facility was clean and that everyone was required to take off their shoes when entering from outside. Even the teachers wear "house shoes" in class. Also, the 6:30p close time was wonderful in case my el was delayed or I needed to work a little bit later. I never worried that my son wasn't being taken care of properly. My son loved going to iLearn. He never cried when I left and would just wave good-bye as he crawled off to play. Sadly, we moved to the suburbs and no longer attend iLearn due to distance. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at iLearn and would still be there if we hadn't moved. My new daycare doesn't compare. read more

My daughter loves iLearn Center and so do I! My 7 month old has been attending daycare at iLearn for the past few months and we are so pleased with the care she is receiving every day. The infant room caregivers are wonderful - playing on the floor with the babies, puppet time, music time, developing her motor skills, working on her tummy time/crawling and keeping her on a nice schedule for her meals and naps every day. At drop off in the morning, my daughter is smiley, kicking her legs with excitement to see her caregivers and the other babies and at the end of the day, my daughter is talkative, happy and often being held in her caregiver's arms when I pick her up. We were initially drawn to iLearn because the center is new, incredibly clean and organized and is located close by our home in Lakeview. All of those things are wonderful but we never imagined how much we would grow to love the caregivers and environment for our daughter. After touring numerous childcare centers in Lakeview, my husband and I loved the calm feeling we got at iLearn, the other centers were much more hectic and noisy which we felt would be too much for our young baby. Her caregivers keep careful notes of her activities each day and take time to update me when I pick my daughter up in the afternoon. I also receive photos a few times a week letting me know how she's doing during her day, which I love! As a first time mom, I value the caregivers' suggestions and observations about my daughter's health and well-being and it's so clear how much they love the babies in their care. We feel so lucky to have found iLearn Center and feel that it is somewhat of a "best kept secret" in Lakeview when it comes to daycare! read more
