Four members stayed at one location, while the other two were a three-minute walk away. When booking, we were led to believe that the distance between the two flats would be closer. This might have been an issue if we would have some small kids in our party. The host family of this B&B was very accommodating. Besides breakfast, they were very helpful in answering our questions about restaurant suggestions, as well as how to get here and there. They were also very helpful in organizing our return trip from Viterbo to the Rome airport (too many bags to take the train back to Rome, then transfer to the airport). Based on what I saw in the 80's movie "European Vacation," I anticipated that the rooms may be smaller than what Americans expect to see back in the US. However, the size of the beds and the walk-in showers were significantly smaller than expected. Entering BOTH flats required going up a flight of stairs after the main entrance. Also, the flats were not air conditioned. Each flat had an oscillating fan in the common areas. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms & common areas would have been nice.
