First visit, a few days after the place opened. A quiet beer on a Wednesday evening, I was the only guest when I arrived, but the bar had two bartenders, and one guy just hanging out.
Beer first: 12 beers on tap, only from Italian breweries: currently from Hibu Craft Brewery and Birrifico Italiano. It seems like more of an easy-to-drink selection than, say, what Himmeriget on the opposite side of the street could have to offer. Nothing that'll offend most. Kudos for sticking only to Italian beer, though!
The place is nice, better interior than what Åens Øl, which was here before, had to offer. Two moka expresses are brewing away on a small plate, chatter in Italian and gestures between the bartenders and the guy hanging out. Nice! Decor is authentic, I guess?
They serve sandwiches too, and I was just served free snacks, which included great olives. A good Wednesday.
What's keeping the fifth star away? Music. Irish bar music, and currently Ramones. Mostly just annoying. Why not keep the Italian theme with that, or turn it off altogether?
EDIT, 20 minutes after writing review: and now they started playing Italian music. It's not particularly nice music (Rock n' Roll Robot by Alberto Camerini), but the requirement was fulfilled. So changing four to five stars.
I'll return, go through their catalogue. I'll head somewhere else to drink stuff that I'm sure will offend me in a good way.
