Accidentally wandering into a sub-par place that lives off foot traffic in touristy areas. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised that Prime Kebap was not only easy to order from but also delicious despite being close to a busy street near the theater. My partner and I each got a kebap with fries and a beer. The kebaps were generously portioned and super tasty. One of the most affordable meals in Berlin and we were happily full. The previous night we'd had a pretty greasy and disappointing experience at a kebap place and assumed they all were just "street food" without much thought put into it, but Prime Kebap proves you can be inexpensive but ALSO have great food! We grabbed an extra beer to go and bookmarked this place for future Berlin trips when we visit the theater!

I've had friends rave about currywurst, and my entire family was pretty underwhelmed by the entire experience. It was basically a hot dog with some sauce and curry powder sprinkled on it. At least they weren't cheap on the fries, and in combination with the salad, it's a pretty substantial meal for the price you are paying. Service was extremely slow; perhaps because they were inundated with our entire tour group ordering at once (a group of about 15-20 people). Free wifi available, and the souvenir store next door is pretty good.

The currywurst really just tasted like a hot dog, with tonkatsu/worchestire sauce on it and some curry powder. The vendors are really nice and always up for a chat. I haven't tried the whole menu but everything sounds delicious :)
