This is a little restaurant in a non touristy part of Paris that offers typical dishes from Northeast Italy (the Veneto region) with a modern twist. This place is worth trying to discover another culinary side of Italy (don't expect pizza).
Four stars for the food: the ingredients are clearly of high quality, the pasta is hand made, and the food is delicious. We had an orzotto (a risotto made out of "orzo" with radicchio (the most Venetian of all the Italian veggies)) and bread gnocchi, followed by a selection of cheeses from the region. I was happy to finally find a place where I can have food from "my" region.
A star less because of the price: it's a bit too expensive (especially for dishes from the Venetian "cucina povera"), a couple of euros less and the place would be perfect. (It looks like the lunch special is a better food/price deal.) Also I personally find it a bit weird when the personal says random words in Italian to give you an "authentic feel". I'm not a huge fan of such folklore. read more
