Then we asked a male server and he brought us the salt and pepper right away. And quickly it was taken away again by the lady to whom we had made our first request. Really?! Why does she hate me so? It was very puzzling but rather blatantly done, as to leave no confusion about how she felt about an Asian person in that restaurant.

By the name you may never decide to enter Fellini since it says Eiscafe - it is so much more. I never had any icecream there yet. Inside seating on first floor is limited to 4 tables, however up the stairs and the second floor is large enough for big parties. Many tables. Seasonal outdoor seating is plentiful when weather allows. They handle my broken German well and quickly switch to English as necessary, menu is available in at least 2 languages. Great location, friendly staff and great Itialian food. Pick this restarant and you win with whatever you order.

Today I visited la grappa with my spouse and ordered a homemade noodle dish with seafood and recommended the shrimp spaghetti dish to my spouse. When the food was served, the shrimp spaghetti dish looked nothing like I had ordered a week ago. There were tiny shrimps thrown into the dish, totally unappealing. To make matters worse, the waiter presented my dish and informed me that the noodle maker was kaput (broken) and hence spaghetti instead of homemade pasta. He did not even apologize. We started eating and towards the end of the meal, the cook came out from the restaurant barking on his mobile phone and settled down on the table next to ours, continuing his lengthy and loud conversation. Then he reached over to our table and grabbed an ashtray. My spouse told him that it was rude to smoke while we were eating and he demanded to know why. Finally we left and vowed never to return to this horrible place ever again!

The staff was not good at serving a big group. They managed to drop a fork on a customer's southern region and another customer did not receive her drink. We are foreigners from Norway and our German is not top notch, but we expected that the servant would account a little for that, specially when it's a restaurant with "good" service. We felt pressured to pay ekstra for tip when we were paying for our food. The servant's service became worse when we decided to not pay much or nothing for tips because he had a lack of performance and were rude and disrespectful to us. The servant tried to add more amount to the bill than some customers agreed on. We all double checked the amount for each bill and three people ended up paying a different amount for the same order. Everyone went home disappointed and angry over the lack of taste, service and respect. There are so many better restaurants in Erfurt that I would much rather recommend.
