They make the pizza fresh all day, and one slice makes a really nice lunch. They have all different types and we were partial to the sausage and the ones with arugula on top. We grabbed our slices and headed to the nearby square in front of the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena to sit and enjoy them in the shade. It's a great alternative to sitting down to a long multi-course lunch if you just want a quick bite.

If you don't know where this is, you'll miss never find them. The cave like feeling is packed with a large crowd, patiently waiting for their sandwiches. The owner is working alone and serving over 10 patrons, he is hustling. There is a menu with traditional combinations but the sky here is the limit. The smell of fresh porketta, marinated sun dried tomatoes, lavandered eggplant and onions heightens the anticipation. I ordered the porketta with mustard cream, honey and added sun dried tomatoes on a perfect crunchy roll. What an incredible combination! This was absolutely delicious and the marrying of powerful sides with impeccable pork is unsurpassed. When I go to Sienna, I don't think about unbelievable custom sandwiches. Now, I do believe and dream of them. Gino Cucino di Angelo is really good with a super hard working owner creating masterpieces. The flavoring of the individual ingredients and placing them together is delicious. If you are in Sienna, dig into the flowering hege and enter a true gem in Sienna cuisine scene.

They've been in business for many years and it's easy to see why. They carry a wide range of local olive oils and always have several available for tasting. They also carry handmade ceramics and beautiful linen items like table runners, table cloths, dish towels etc. You'll find other olive related products here as well. It's a great little shop to find quality culinary items for yourself or for gift giving. Worth a visit if in Siena.

This location is next to bus/train station and people constantly go in with their bags/luggage. Plain-clothed security guard separated two young women and searched their bags FOR NO REASON! When he found nothing he yelled at them to get out and wouldn't let them get the groceries they paid for. He singled them out because they were young women. Lots of other people in the store also had bags and he only picked on the two girls. NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN!!
