Just down the street from our hotel, a very good pastry shop. In every town or city we visited,…read morebakeries were ubiquitous with breads and pastries a constant temptation. This shop is small, with limited space inside. There are tables on the sidewalk outside.
For the full selection of baked goods, you have to be there early in the morning. In such a small town you'd be surprised at how quickly the stock is depleted. They are closed (by law) on Mondays.
As in most bakeries in Italy, the croissants with jam or cream are very popular. Our young daughter fell in love with their mini sugar donuts (ciambella). She ate 5 or 6 one day on multiple stops there! Prices are very reasonable.
I enjoyed my cafe latte each afternoon, served in a tall glass. Wish I had one right now. Even my wife who is not a coffee lover enjoyed the cafe lattes.
