We stumbled in our 1st night we stayed in Florence because it was within walking distance from our Villa. It did not disappoint. We had a basket of baked local vegetables with a shaved ricotta cheese on them to start. One of the best things I've eaten so far in Italy! We had the Steak Florintine both nights, both were incredible cuts of meat. The 2nd night (our last night on Florence), we went back because it was so good the 1st night, I had a pasta dish with red sauce, chili, and more of that shaved Ricotta...OMG, best pasta dish of my life. We also had a bean dish (again, fresh local vegetables) cooked in a different red sauce that was amazing as well. This red sauce was a touch sweeter but just as delicious. Both nights we had the best Pana Cotta I've ever had. Now for the people. They are AMAZING! Owner there is amazing and his staff is like family (might actually be) We felt like family after the 2nd nights dinner. They were so happy to see us when we showed up again. Like any place in Italy, call 1st to make sure they can accommodate you for dinner.
