Each and every detail of our week long stay was thoughtfully prepared..from the way our beds were made daily to the food prepared for dinner. Salvatore speaks great English and helped us purchase our train tickets to Tuscany. They have two cows, two pigs, chickens, and rabbits amongst expansive vegetable gardens and a vineyard...all a short walk from the residence. The view is incredible and you can see the entire Amalfi coast. All the food is grown organically and prepared by Angelo. We couldn't have been happier that we chose Stefano! He was punctual, kind, incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable, and truly accommodating. He always had our best interest in mind and was flexible to meet our needs. Conversation was so easy, his stories about the history were definitely interesting, and most of all we felt so comfortable with him. He went above and beyond, like family! The timing worked out that we even met up with him and his friends for pizza later :) The Cloister Inn was in the works at the time and I remember chatting with Stefano about it. A year later, I know he has put everything he has into it to make it perfect. Although I haven't stayed there yet, I would in a HEARTBEAT! Because I know Stefano cares for peoples well being and really wants them to have an incredible stay. He connects more to experience and care rather than the business end, and for me that makes for a GUARANTEED great experience. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and felt like part of the family by the end of it. He stopped at special places to capture beautiful photos, picked us up some local treats and had a lot of fun knowledge that we would have never been able to do on our own. He drove us from Naples and it was relaxing since we did not have to drive ourselves through the mountains!
