Il Capriolo propone un menù molto vario, grazie alla versatilità dalla sua cucina, alla disponibilità della griglia a carbone e del forno a legna. Il menù pone le sue radici nella tradizione ma cercando di attualizzarla e rinnovarla grazie alle idee dello Chef Tommaso, sempre pronto a proporre piatti di sapore od interpretazione più moderni e cosmopoliti.

History

Established in 1961.

Nel 1961 venne inaugurato dalla Signora Ofelia il primo grande ristorante a Prato, "Il Capriolo": specialità toscane. Nel 2011, a 50 anni esatti dalla sua prima apertura e dopo un periodo di cessazione dell'attività, il ristorante ha riaperto sotto la cura dei bis-nipoti della fondatrice. Il locale si ripropone di mantenere i piatti della tradizione, grazie alla grande griglia a carbone e legna ed alla ricerca di filiere corte per carne e verdura. Crediamo, tuttavia, che il passato debba essere anche rinnovato, per questo all'interno del menù troverete, piatti dal sapore ed interpretazione più attuali

Price are totally honest and the menu great variety.. We tried panzanella with fish, prosciutto and stracchino and coccoli, baccala' salmon carpaccio, sedani, tortino di zucchine, was delicious and light . Service Was nice and the waiter made sure everything was ok.. Perfect spot in Prato can't beat the outdoor ...I will definitely come back!!!!
