We came for the Saturday morning flea market and they had so many awesome things. From clothing, to vintage pieces, cameras, decor and all kinds of cool things. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, wish I was visiting for more days. Grabbed some cheese at a local shop of the market, a bottle of wine, fresh bread and sat at the little rooftop garden area and did a little floor picnic while we sunbathed. One of my favorite things we did while visiting and just got to take a little break from walking and going. Such an awesome market with so many options and little shops.

Shamelessly, I tried every type of cakes here during my very short stay in Vienna (oh year, I did go there everyday...) All delicious and the raspberry mousse and chestnuts cake are the must-haves. Basically, this is like a bakery with a wide offer in fresh breads (even bio, vegan or gluten-free) and a lot of pastries (very good croissants!), but also with a café part. You can seat indoors (nice and comfortable, with blankets and stools) and outdoors for all those who likes getting some fresh air! :) You can order there your cold or warm drinks, and something to eat; or simply get take-away. They have several breakfast menus, adapted to any appetite size, with at least a warm drink and a pastry. They also make some fresh squeezed orange juice as you order it! For lunch, they have a lots of fresh-made sandwiches, snacks and salads. I warmly recommend their salads actually: they are quite generous, tasty, healthy of course, and included in the price you get the small bread (=Weckerl) of your choice!

Located within the Dorotheum auction house, it was a pleasant experience to explore the three floors of holdings and view some of the pieces available for retail purchase. The cafe is a little hidden considering it's not explicitly advertised outside, you have to go upstairs to the second floor and follow the signs. There's two sections of seating; one part is on an open upper balcony level that overlooks some antique furniture available for purchase, this is mostly for light desserts. The main seating is within a specific restaurant corner of the building, and seats about 40-50 people, mostly at tables of 2 or 4. Atmosphere feels kinda like you're eating in a museum or library, there were conversations going on though they felt a bit muted by the formality of the auction house setting. There's a coffee bar and ordering counter where you can place orders to go, you can also sit and eat in for a full service experience. Will mention this is certainly a cafe meaning the menu is comprised of mostly coffee and tea drinks, desserts and snacks, maybe a single page of items that could be considered a light lunch. My friend and I originally ordered cold drinks an iced latte €5.20? and a bottled green smoothie €5.90, and then got a piece of Gugelhupf (marble bundt cake) €3.10 and Topfenkugel (cheese strudel) $4.60. Drinks were pretty standard, the cakes were pretty decent--moist, not too sweet, the cheese strudel was fluffy and not too dense, though servings are on the smaller side. Service team members were nice though I think a little on the slower side in terms of checking in on how we were doing, it took a while to get the check. I'd stop by again!

It was my first time having Kardinalschnitte, which is a light, fluffy cake that is mostly whipped cream. The service was great too. The man who was helping us was really kind and just seemed to have a great attitude overall.

Take the U1 (red line) to Kagranerplatz station, exit right and take the 24A bus, it drops you outside Aldi and then its just over the road. Reasonably priced as per usual.

No rack on the car ? No problem, everything is packed so it can be easily transported and they will also provide materials for a makeshift, yet secure rack on top of your car to carry your items. Ikea rocks !! in Vienna, in Paris, in Chicago, and in Miami !!!!

My chocolate tort was pretty good but not amazing like my daughter's. The room we sat is was lovely with ornate ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. This place is GIGANTIC and parking can be an issue since it's also part of a mall. We were lucky to get a space. You can find everything for the home here. I spent time in the bedroom, storage, and kids areas looking at things. I found everything I was looking for and more. The prices sure are right here. AND you can get a meal! I'll be making the pilgrimage to my closest store to complete purchases soon.
