I always love ikea whether it's in the United States or Europe. I haven't been to ones in other continents yet. I would say the ikea I went to in Sweden (Jonkoping) was a gold standard. The food was so easy to find there and the choices and quality of food was amazing. But here in Copenhagen, there are so many levels for food and the choices are more typical to other ikeas like meatball platters. The main bistro restaurant is on level 1 but there is food on 2 other levels (-2 is the ground level where there's an open early cafe with salads and juices and coffee and dessert) before ikea opens at 10am on a Sunday for those who are early but have to wait, and level -1 has a food market but it's just for basic things like hotdogs and ice cream cones. So I got a lot of steps in today as is usual for going to ikea due to its vast size as well. You have to pay 5 DKK = $0.75 USD for ketchup bc the fries don't come with it and there are no ketchup packets lying around gratis. So make sure you order it at the kiosk. read more
