Then an $84…read moresavox servo. $30 for toolset $60 in useless labor and After being lied to numerous times I actually had to contact Horizon Hobby to let them know the level of waaaay under par service they show the "store" upstairs they let RC cars get dusty. When I did speak to the owner I was told to not come back because I had already contacted Horizon Hobby (which is an excellent customer service experience), company that produces I was also told they'd help me three times form o charge and the track behind the shop would be made available. NONE of this was true. I was quoted $70 ($35 / hour) to "fix it " and then they took $60 and the car was NOT fixed at all. After taking that on the chin, I started getting parts offline and Stopped doing business with Buddy's Hobby Hut the owner really didn't lien the call from one of the largest manufacturers of RC products. Before I took a car for windshield or looking for an RC car , I would drive to Denver or call the place (don't want to spam) that comes to you. As far as ordering your own RC cars in Steamboat area, DON'T. Drive to Denver and do your research on that also. The are some bad apples out there taking advantage of our passion for RC cars.

Live in Stbt Spgs and after seeing a small 2" diameter spot underneath the radiator on the garage floor (without any hint of overheating), I brought our '14 D. Durango to a local garage (former owned by a well known local who recently departed back to Baltimore) for diagnosis and tire rotation. The cooling system was pressure tested and found to have a small leak on the driver's side corner and was quoted a figure of $1100 for installation of a new radiator. I was informed that nobody in town solders radiator anymore. I then spoke with Dean at Auto Radiator in Craig. He did say he would solder the radiator, depending on the location of the leak. About a week later I drove to Craig to leave the car w/ Dean and rode the clean and convenient Stbt Regional Transit bus back from Craig. The next day he said he re-pressure tested the cooling system to confirm the location but didn't think a solder would be successful since the it was right where the aluminum transitioned to the plastic and he thought a replacement would be $700-750. A day later he called to say the work was completed and I could pick it up whenever convenient...even a Saturday (today). Rode the bus back to Craig (2nd stop in Craig is conveniently, right in front of the radiator shop and was exactly on time on both trips) and paid $686.96 Thanks Dean!

It looked pretty sinister, and I had no idea how or what had happened and how costly it would be to fix - needless to say, this concerned me a ton! I'm new to Steamboat, so I asked around and had two people recommend Bob Wallace's services to me. One even said, that he was, by far, the best mechanic in town. Right off the bat, I liked Bob. He was super friendly, plus his shop was neat and orderly and both he and the employee I met were courteous and attentive. I had no idea how long it would take to diagnose the problem, but I brought my 2017 Audi wagon there and hoped for the best. Within an hour, I got a message from Bob that the car was fixed. The wire was actually a hose and a wire that had been dislodged from the frame of the car. Bob put it on the lift, cleaned it up in and around the bracket anchor and got it put back together securely. When completed, he texted and even explained what happened by showing some before and after photos. When I came by later to pick up the car, Bob would not take any money for the work that he did, which just blew me away! Not only did this guy do great work, but he was quick, thorough, and did an amazing job. I would recommend Wallace Auto to anyone in or around the Steamboat area! ** Just an FYI, I did not get paid for this glowing endorsement. :)

From the moment the phone was answered I was treated like family. The woman who made the appointment was the kindest person- I felt like I had called my aunt!
