Dr Yee is a real piece of work and I would give her zero stars if I could. She is very cold and not easy to talk to. I sent her three messages thru MyChart about a prescription that I have been on for 12 years and will be on the rest of my life. She never responded to any of them and I did give her plenty of time to respond. I finally sent another message asking if she still worked for IHA Internal Medicine. She called me at home the next morning, almost screaming at me, to tell me that the RX was originally proscribed by a plastic surgeon (not true - it was proscribed by a gastro doctor after I spent 5 months in the hospital). That she only refilled my RX as a curtesy. That I needed to see a gastro doctor for the RX and that I better find another primary care doctor too. I could not believe that she could be so rude and told her that she would be the last doctor on the earth I would ever see again. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I asked for a referral 8 days ago and never received any correspondence from Dr. Yee. Only when I went in for an appointment (and a copay, and whatever else they're going to bill insurance) did Dr. Yee tell me that she believes that chiropractic care is the same thing as homeopathy, equating the manual adjustments and rehabilitation exercise with magic elixirs and salt crystals. She told me very clearly that she will NEVER submit a referral for a patient to see a chiropractor under any circumstance because she is not trained in it. I guess this means that unless she's been trained in every type of treatment there is, she's not going to make a referral. Her course of action was to become rude and agitated when I was asking direct questions... she then told me that I would feel more comfortable with another physician and to go out front, find some availability, and get on their calendar. I'm in pain, and this course of treatment has been previously successful for me. I have chronic back pain, and became pain-free until I managed to wreck it again. Dr. Yee referred my to Michigan Spine, and all they did was take an x-ray and tell me everything looked fine. She was good with that, where the patient doesn't see a successful outcome, but not with something she hasn't been trained in. I really hope for her patient's sake she's been trained in every possible illness and treatment on the planet. She CLEARLY doesn't care about the health of her patients and is only concerned about having folks come in for an appointment as often as possible in order to boost billing. read more

I also would give zero stars if I could. The clerk at the front desk was extremely rude and callous in her behavior. They also harass you at check in if you have outstanding co-pays even if you request to pay online. They (illegally) try to tell you that it will keep you from receiving further, necessary care. I've been with IHA for more than 20 years and has been very patient on few of the call backs I've requested in the past. But recently I called to request a nurse or doctor to call me back, no one bothered. After waiting 24 hours I called again and basically the receptionist voiced they are very busy with other patients and didn't know when I was going to get the call, maybe 48 hours, etc. It has been over 48 hours. This office only cares about the money they can generate by seeing the patient since they don't care about the general welfare of the patient. I was refered here by my heart specialist Dr. Bradley Hubbard. He said Dr. Poppe is one of the best in the area. So since 2012 I have been coming here. I used to have Obamacare Blue Cross and used to be seen by Dr. Oberdoester, but after my identity got stolen last year I switched to United Heath through work, and they take United Healthcare here. Dr. Poppe is an awesome lady. She is very thorough. And she has no problems telling you how it is. For the betterment of your health. Best Doctor I've had in a long time. I am leaving this place. I cannot count the times and the ways they have totally dropped the ball on me, forgotten about me, didn't get me serious results until I called a month and a half later. Yesterday, my doctor sent me directly from the office to the ER. I was later released, however, still in incredible pain (she had already witnessed this - I was crying and I have a high pain tolerance). I called her on the way back from the hospital and left a message for her to call me back. The ER doc didn't prescribe me the "normal" number of days of antibiotics and didn't relieve the pain I was in. I left a message for the doctor. Called again this am at 6:20 am unable to walk due to pain - to discuss the meds, pain management and if I should go back to the ER or not, or come see her, or what. I called just now and asked about a return call to find out that the nurses have 24 hours to return call. I asked why my message didn't get to my doctor and she said they don't transfer calls to their doctors = THIS WAS AFTER HOURS, I KNEW I WAS LEAVING A MESSAGE. She told me the nurses have 24 hours to respond. I asked what would happen if I had an emergency - she said why then they would make sure I got a call back right away...so MY incredible pain, the pain my doctor sent me to the ER for doesn't qualify as an emergency AND when I asked specifically for her to call me back not the nurses, she didn't even get my message when I called twice. This is on top of the forgetting about me for a hour in a room - I actually walked out and asked if I could go which one nurse blamed the other for not telling me...they forgot about test results regarding a spot on my kidney they found - until a month and half later - I have had multiple appointments for lab work wherein they forgot to send the requisitions, forgotten faxed paperwork. I'm done. I can't take this anymore from them and am so furious right now. Only good thing about my anger is that it is distracting me from my pain. Prayerfully, my doctor will return my call, otherwise, I'm headed there in person. FURIOUS at how I get treated like I'm not important and they never call me back - maybe just my dumb luck with this place. DONE. UPDATE - it's been 24 hours, three phone calls, tears of pain and still no call back. I guess I'm not an emergency enough to warrant attention. I'm headed back to ER... read more

I had told the office I had to leave by 145. My appt was @ 1 ad there was only 1 person in the waiting room (and for another doctor). Secretary said she wasn't going to be able to see me by then. I refused to reschedule. I'm not seeing a doctor who doesn't care ahoy my time. I said it was very unprofessional. The secretary said that the doctor was new. I said that's no excuse and I hope this is a learning experience for her then. The doctor's name was Sonia Haque. Do not make appointments with this doctor. Apparently, her lunch is more important than her patients. No customer service at all. read more

2 separate items to review. First I had a cough for 2 months. I called multiple times and they would not give me anything. They asked me if a had any Covid Symptons which I told them no but they sent me for a covid test any way. I tested negative which I told them it would be the result but they put me at risk and still did nothing to help my cough. The second was I scheduled a regular check up and I need to get a blood test for lab work prior to the appointment. I was told I no longer needed a paper for lab work that it was in the system. I stayed in the que for about 45 minutes for checking in when they told me it was not in the system. They told me to call the Dr's office. I called the office and said I was not in the system for a lab test! I said Ok but you do see I have an appointment tomorrow and she said yes. She said she would confirm with the dr. I said yeah but why cant you just order since you know that I have a appointment tomorrow and I always get a lab test prior to my appointment but she had to get the drs permission. So now I have to wait for the dr's approval after standing in line for 45 minutes! I do not know how long this is going to be and I have to fast until I give blood!!! I do not understand why the dr cannot empower the office person to put my lab request in the system? read more

It appears that this is some type of subsidized care for poor individuals. Don't go here if you expect medical care by competent healthcare personnel. Appointments last a few minutes and they bill for longer appointments and procedures not even done. Additionally, they do not treat you with respect. Staff are rude and the physicians allow this type of behavior. I finally figured out this is the reason they accept many insurances. read more

Saw Dr Hawk twice now and she is nice and all but personally I prefer a doctor that is more thorough and concerned. I had a general physical and got my labs and there was nothing on there but hemoglobin and vitamin D!! Is it just me or isn't a physical or wellness checkup supposed to check cholesterol, triglycerides or something? I need more information than this to get a discount on my health insurance! So To go back and forth for an hour after my appointment on what labs should be part of my physical...and i'm not a doctor so I don't know what could be missing. I had to bag for a basic lipid panel. I'm just wondering what the purpose of my physical was if we aren't checking anything. She is very reluctant to issue any tests labs etc...its weird Ive never had a doctor like that before. I had to basically bag for a standard lipid panel, STD checkup etc...and had to go back in 3 tomes to het it right. ugh ....I think I am going to have to find a new PCP...If something serious were to happen to me I would like to be in the hands of someone who seem to care a little more. I go to the Plymouth office. I have lived in this area for 3 years. About a year after moving here I left my doc of 10 years because it wasn't practical anymore to drive to Shelby between work and having a child. IHA. Plymouth Dr. Weener was the 3rd office I've tried. After 2 awful experiences I found Dr. weener who I like even better than the office I was at for 10 years. The office staff is great. I have NO problems with Dr. Sweet. He is a fantastic doctor. The problem is the staff that works here. They are EXTREMELY rude and VERY condescending. I live really close to this office and have been a patient here for years. They are completely incompetent. Never through the 10 years and 3 different insurances I have had, had they gotten coding for the visits entered correctly. It is very hard to get someone to talk to about the coding mistakes and they will not correct them but will argue with you endlessly. Every time, you will get an insanely high, incorrect bill. Last time my annual physical exam, that was supposed to be covered was 165 dollars and coded as 2 separate visits. Despite 6 phone calls an hours spent on the phone they still will not correct it. On average I had to wait for an hour or two before each of my scheduled visits, despite being on time. I have never walked out feeling that my doctors were helpful or knowledgeable. It just got to the point that I ended up switching providers and doctors. I'm in medical school now, I know what professionalism is supposed to look like and I just don't have time to be dealing with all these mistakes, and be paying for them. read more
