The rooms are clean and the hotel staff really nice and friendly even though they speak little English. The food at the restaurant is amazing !!!! We tried the picaña, a local dish. The spaghetti frutti do mare (my advice take one for 2 is really big), the petit gateau (chocolate cake with melting core), the Lula grelhada (grilled squid) and obviously the caipirinha :-) (They are fantastic). The hotel is in front of the marina, and they can book for you a trip to the island in front of Angra. There is a lot of bars and restaurant on the vicinity of the hotel inside the condomino. Gabriel and Jimena gave us excellent recommendations and the deck is to die for! I really felt like I was in the Greek islands. The room is luxurious but cozy at the same time, and the hotel makes a real effort to make you feel like you're at home. When our driver from Rio canceled on us prior to our Buzios departure, Jimena went above and beyond to secure a new driver for us. Concierge and hotel staff took care of everything for us from restaurant bookings to attractions to attraction and spa bookings. I can't say enough about the friendly and helpful nature of everyone we encountered. We enjoyed breakfast each morning with a beautiful buffet of fruits, pastries, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit juices, eggs, sausage, and more. We also could order off the menu for specific items. Coffee, sparkling wine, and juices included. The pool was the perfect temperature(its temperature controlled), and well attended with bathrooms right there. Outside on the beach the hotel has its own tent, chairs, and towels. Complimentary beach bag and flip flops upon your arrival. Turndown included fresh water and treats, and I loved the scents of all their products. Great restaurants on site as well as nearby.

What I really liked was that they had a section reserved right on the beach, where you can sit, leave your stuff, and even get a massage! Will definitely be back! They have my heart!!
