I was excited to get a nice wall display made with her newspaper article that the Press Democrat did about her promotion. Then he finally answered and said, "Wasn't I clear?" And then I explained that I was a prospect looking for help with a display and asked if he meant to treat me the way he did. He said he gets too many calls and then hung up on me again. Don't call, I guess. Maybe walk in? I'll go somewhere else.

We got verbal confirmations multiple times that symbols such as a ^ or ' etc. could be done, which is especially important since we are Vietnamese and those characters are in our names. The day we came to pick it up, the characters were missing, and the clerk seriously said to us, "Oh, I didn't even notice those" when I pointed out that they forgot to add the symbols in the engravement. HE WAS THERE WHEN WE WERE FILLING OUT THE FORM! The other woman who was working the machine did not apologize, but only said that "certain fonts do not allow her to insert those characters" and that she could put it back in the machine to have it fixed later. These two comments are conflicting with each other ("I can't add the characters with that font, but I can add them if you wait an hour"????) and just sound like she was trying to cover for the fact that she made a mistake. We paid $3 per word to be engraved, yet they did it wrong, and were unable to help us to make up for their mistake. Instead, they suggested that we just "give it to our mom" then take it back to have it fixed before she notices at a "later date." I did not pay $60 for a product to have it wrong, only to be inconvenienced and told that I need to come back to have it fixed for something THEY told us they could do.

The online ordering process is a terrible experience, generally resulting in errors (my 3rd and last time with this company). 2. The online order, for store pickup, is sent to the "brick and mortar" store for processing. 3. When there is an error, store personnel do not communicate with online personnel. 4. The customer has to be the intermediary between the store and their own online colleagues. 5. After calling the store and receiving the phone number for the online support, I called and the online rep was confused and befuddled regarding my order. 6. I had the order, from thingsremembered.com, pulled up on my computer for 3 sets of cuff links. 7. The rep insisted that there were only 2 sets. 8. I do not know why I would be looking at a different order details screen than the online rep, but he asked me to take a screen shot and email it to him...Whaaaaat?? 9. I have been waiting for 15 minutes and no call, so I will now call the online number back and see what happens. After the store finally gets the order correct, the work done is very good.
