"When there is nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire," really says it all! Ignite has such a positive, motivating atmosphere. Mari and the other instructors are so inspirational and encouraging. I highly encourage anyone looking for a fitness studio to check out Ignite, ASAP! read more

Ignite goes beyond the title "Fitness Studio" it has a personal touch you wont find anywhere else! They welcome you at any fitness level and you never feel alone in your journey to a better you.... Nobody said it will be easy, but, it becomes the type of burn you will crave! read more

The atmosphere was energetic and positive! I was visiting from out of town and felt welcomed immediately. I have been turned away from group fitness in the past due to the intimidating factor and the cost. Neither of those negatives found here! I got support at my current skill level and motivation to challenge myself. Forget the hotel fitness room and stop by Ignite to get your fitness on while you're on vacation! read more

Ignite Fitness Studio is a group exercise fitness facility located in the heart of Ashland, Wisconsin that caters to individuals of all abilities and interests. Ignite Fitness Studio is always offering new styles of group fitness and currently offers indoor cycling, PiYo, barre, Sculpt, Step, Stretch classes, CrossFire, boot camps, and more! Our Studio offers the widest range of group fitness classes in the area and are taught by certified Instructors that are educated, personable, and care about your health and fitness goals.

History

Established in 2013.

Ignite Fitness is a labor of love opened by friends and fitness enthusiasts in 2013. After spending nearly a decade in gyms and fitness centers, and joining the gyms solely to take the fun, energetic classes that were offered we discovered that it was the instructors and other women in the classes that helped us stay motivated and kept us returning.

Not a lot of weekend classes, so I'm paying for something that they don't really let me use. I will probably buy a membership somewhere else next month. Not impressed!! There are two studios. The yoga studio is pretty small. There were about 10 students and we were all pretty close together. The wasabi restaurant and the Rathskeller downstairs sometimes make distracting noises. Location is scary to access in the dark, as it's on Michigan St. parking is kind of challenging. Teachers are great and offer help with your practice when the class size is smaller, and have offered to help before and after class . Studio gets hot for the hot yoga classes,'but nowhere near as hot as better insulated facilities. There are showers and a locker room, and downtown location is very convenient!! Super affordable classes, great workout and experience, and even the other students are nice.

The classes, instructors, and other people working out were all fabulous. Everyone I met was encouraging, accepting, and positive. As an overweight woman, I am always leary about taking a fitness class with all the "skinny people", but at Ignite I did not feel at all intimidated. I felt welcomed and encouraged by everyone. There were women and men of all ages and fitness levels all working toward the same goal...to get healthier and more fit!! I give Ignite 5 stars because it really is Igniting!! read more
