I don't really know Nottingham but it was centrally located and easy to find from the train station. There were several nice bars and restaurants in close proximity. Easy check in and staff courteous enough. The corridors had a musty or chemical smell so I tended to shuffle to my room quite quickly. The rooms are an average size with bathroom 'pods'. More than sufficient to be honest especially for a short stay. One perk was definitely the taxi call point at the front of the hotel. You simply press a button to order your taxi and it tells you the registration plate to look out for-prompt service too!

The first room we had was very hot and when I turned the Air-con on I found out why, it leaked water and dripped constantly leading to a big wet puddle on the floor by the door, when I told them about it a reception I was just rudely informed Its not air conditioning its just a cooling unit like I was supposed to be happy with that answer! I asked to change rooms which was better. Also the beds are incredibly uncomfortable, the mattress is about 2 inches thick and the bed is solid wood, not sprung at all. I could go on to mention the extortionate breakfast that was on offer, £9 for a bowl of coco pops, a coffee and a croissant isnt what I would call reasonable.
