Many interesting projects and community outreach projects happening here. Very collaborative with the community. I loved everyone I met and feel so welcome here. There's a coffee shop onsite, study areas, lounge areas, kids indoor play areas, giant wrap around parking lot. I loved that it has a band and they're not blasting loud like other churches. They have guitars and singers, lyrics are displayed on screen. It's easy to sing along. The lyrics were so beautiful. The service was great and I loved the message Pastor Barry gave today about always being the light in any challenges.

I work in a hospital and it has been just how many people would think. Scary, exhausting, sad. IBC members have been beyond amazing with how encouraging they have been with the hospital staff. Y'all, they put up signs of encouragement near the employee entrance. They have gathered in the early mornings to clap and cheer when we arrive for the day and the night shift is leaving. They have drawn beautiful, uplifting quotes on the sidewalk in chalk. Signs that they are praying for us! They have even supplied breakfast for the staff! Thank you, IBC, for all you have done. I don't think you can truly understand how much this means to all of us, especially how much it means to me!

It was very evident that your work is to do (at your church) and that is not the work of the God we serve. Galatians 2:20-21 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. There was nothing but a 10 min message and a guest taking about some organization (which seem for a good cause but that is just part of an announcement - for it should be)

I attended this church from about 6 years old until high school. On an average week, I would spend…read moreat least 10 to 15 hours a week at this place, including multi-day revivals, Saturday prayer mornings, Wednesday nights, and of course, Sunday mornings, not to mention additional holiday events. My mom and I started attending this church and upon our first visit, we were approached and invited to lunch with an "elder", who began courting my mom and ended up marrying her, against my will. Suffice to say, this man was not a godly man, and the church treated our family like outcasts instead of helping me. I was made fun of by the youth group and called a loner, was ignored, isolated, and humiliated to sit on the front row of this church with my "family", yet we were cordially ignored and avoided, eventually being asked to leave the church. It always confused me, how people who sang about helping others, grace, helping the helpless, chose to turn their backs on me. When I finally had the strength to leave Irving in 2008, I called my so called pastor of this church to seek guidance, support and finally use my voice and share the truth, something that I had not been able to do since 6 years old. No matter how many times I called his office, how many messages I left, I was repeatedly told he was busy, or unavailable. I even reached out to his family, which was of no use. It broke my heart, that a place that boasted they were so full of God's spirit, could reject our family instead of intervening. An entire organization who Saw ME as an embarrassment instead of being an advocate for a defenseless little girl. I can never again take this church seriously as they have put their money where their mouth is and have shown me for over a decade, their true colors. My advice would be hard pass. Like most churches, they will have modern affects. Fresh coffee. Bright, shiny smiles. Even wonderful people who are being unknowingly exploited for free labor AKA serving, however the "warm fuzzy" feeling that coats you as you walk in isn't the holy spirit. It's a song and dance to get you to fund their illusion and kush lifestyle. So incredibly sad that the gaudy, prideful and arrogant people of this church never took the time to see I needed help, that my mom was too worn down and emotionally weak to take care of me and leave the "Elder". We were surrounded a sea of religious leaders who never intended to get their pretty shoes dirty. Thanks for everything, Calvary Church, what a gem!

The Church is special for us because it supports our multi culture lifestyle that being my wife is Latino and I am a Black American. We are able to attend church in English or in Spanish for our spiritual enrichment, there is very good translation to support us as we learn each other's language better. Life Church/Mundo De Fe has a good community atmosphere about it, which foresters close relationships through Pastor Tim and Pastor Abigail leadership. It's a very caring Church, which comes across when you have a chance to interact with the other Pastors in the Church like Pastor Rolando and Pastor Pepe. It's a priority for Anamariela and I to be involved with a Church where the mission is about connecting souls together in Christ Jesus, and giving back to the community which Life Church/Mundo De Fe accomplishes through its outreach programs like the Soup Mobile and Celebrate Recovery. Though I have not been a member as long as my wife, we are able to get involved through leading a connection group, and serving in the Church at the connection booth. We look forward to not only growing in the Church, but utilization our calling in ministry to help the Church expand it goals and mission to connect souls to Christ Jesus and teach believers to grow in faith. If you are looking for a Church built on Faith, then Life Church/Mundo De Fe is where you can find a home to worship and grow. Mrs. Anamariela Barry Dr. Cecil E. Barry (Rev.)

But the real reason I'd recommend you come here is to hear a straight-from-the-bible- message that confirms you are forgiven and not forsaken; and above all else God loves you! The access here is pretty easy right at the southeast corner of O'Connor and State Hwy 114. They have donuts and kolaches, a separate service for kids (they are welcome to stay in service with you if you choose), and a very accessible pastor who has written several books which all point to the same conclusion. God gave you the gift of Jesus Christ and there are no other requirements but to accept His mercy and grace. For once, how about you visit a church that never makes you feel guilty about being imperfect and never makes you look at yourself as unclean or impure? You'll never be given a list of steps to receive God's mercy and grace because He's already given it to you! The Grace Church just helps you to see what's already inside you! The church also has an amazing online presence if visiting a church in person is just not your thing and you want to do church on your own time. And the pastor here encourages you to worship and attend church however and whenever you want in person or online.

Sunday services at the South Campus (Carrollton) are at 9 AM and 11:30 AM. The teaching pastor of the day travels to the North Campus (McKinney) in between the two South Campus services to deliver the same message there live, then returns to Carrollton for the 11:30 service. Pastors Amie and Stacey are the Lead Pastoral Team, with Pastor Amie and her team of teaching pastors doing a wonderful job of speaking the Word of God into the hearts, spirits, and minds of their flock in person and online. (The South Campus Sunday services are live on YouTube and at covlive.online.church. One will be posted permanently on Covenant's YouTube channel, on Monday at the latest. Speaking about YouTube, Covenant Worship is powerful; just listen! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFfLNdOSbQn07h6_yXPtVrQ.) Covenant is truly a multigenerational multicultural non-denominational community. (Covenant Church practices child dedication and water baptism by immersion but is not a Baptist church in any sense.) The worship team and the teaching pastors work in tandem so that the music choices not only lead everyone into deep and meaningful worship but prepare them to hear the intentional life-changing message. This leads to multiple salvations at every service. Covenant's Core Values are: * Know God * Find Freedom * Discover Purpose * Make a Difference That plan means that whatever your age or spiritual maturity when you come to this church, Covenant is ready, through small topical groups, weekend events, short-term classes and other formats for lifetime learning to help you make sure that you have a deep and personal relationship with Jesus no matter what is happening around you. The foundational practices to growing in "knowing God" are reading and understanding the Bible as God's Word, and prayer as two-way communication with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. "Finding freedom" is the next goal and may happen privately at any point in one's spiritual journey but Freedom Groups, a 14-week course, is a primary tool. "Discovering (your) Purpose" can change over a lifetime of circumstantial changes but Growth Track is especially designed to help you find God's purpose for your life. Making a difference, whether it is spreading the Good News of Jesus privately or publicly, providing physical needs and assistance along with being ready to meet spiritual needs, comes naturally to those who have an intimate relationship with their Maker and Savior, who have found freedom and purpose, encouraged by the excellent preaching and teaching from the pastors and the Covenant community surrounding them.
