WELCOME HOME. These are the words you feel when you go to Calvary Church. I personally have the privilege of being at the Wallace NC campus and love it. I would challenge that you can't find lead pastors like Ben and Kim that teach such a raw, honest, unfiltered message of Grace and Gods goodness. I was able to come to the Thrive 2019 conf at the Irving campus and had an absolute blast! If you're reading this, then you're searching and it's a good confirmation that you NEED to come and be with family at any of the Calvary campuses. Irving, Dallas, Arlington, NFW, Wallace, & Latino. Come be a part of a family!

Calvary church by far is the best church Inhave ever been to. The moment you walk in they say welcome home. The church is very open and welcoming. Diversity and fun are two of the things that drew me in along with the message of grace. I started attending the church during Thrive 2019, which was held in January of 2019. It's been almost a year and I'm still here. I reccomend this church to everyone to try at least once you wont regret it.

Worship at Calvary is always fantastic.

Too much singing in the first 30-40 minutes of the service. Took awhile to even get to the message.

Many interesting projects and community outreach projects happening here. Very collaborative with the community. I loved everyone I met and feel so welcome here. There's a coffee shop onsite, study areas, lounge areas, kids indoor play areas, giant wrap around parking lot. I loved that it has a band and they're not blasting loud like other churches. They have guitars and singers, lyrics are displayed on screen. It's easy to sing along. The lyrics were so beautiful. The service was great and I loved the message Pastor Barry gave today about always being the light in any challenges.

I work in a hospital and it has been just how many people would think. Scary, exhausting, sad. IBC members have been beyond amazing with how encouraging they have been with the hospital staff. Y'all, they put up signs of encouragement near the employee entrance. They have gathered in the early mornings to clap and cheer when we arrive for the day and the night shift is leaving. They have drawn beautiful, uplifting quotes on the sidewalk in chalk. Signs that they are praying for us! They have even supplied breakfast for the staff! Thank you, IBC, for all you have done. I don't think you can truly understand how much this means to all of us, especially how much it means to me!

The Church is special for us because it supports our multi culture lifestyle that being my wife is Latino and I am a Black American. We are able to attend church in English or in Spanish for our spiritual enrichment, there is very good translation to support us as we learn each other's language better. Life Church/Mundo De Fe has a good community atmosphere about it, which foresters close relationships through Pastor Tim and Pastor Abigail leadership. It's a very caring Church, which comes across when you have a chance to interact with the other Pastors in the Church like Pastor Rolando and Pastor Pepe. It's a priority for Anamariela and I to be involved with a Church where the mission is about connecting souls together in Christ Jesus, and giving back to the community which Life Church/Mundo De Fe accomplishes through its outreach programs like the Soup Mobile and Celebrate Recovery. Though I have not been a member as long as my wife, we are able to get involved through leading a connection group, and serving in the Church at the connection booth. We look forward to not only growing in the Church, but utilization our calling in ministry to help the Church expand it goals and mission to connect souls to Christ Jesus and teach believers to grow in faith. If you are looking for a Church built on Faith, then Life Church/Mundo De Fe is where you can find a home to worship and grow. Mrs. Anamariela Barry Dr. Cecil E. Barry (Rev.)

But the real reason I'd recommend you come here is to hear a straight-from-the-bible- message that confirms you are forgiven and not forsaken; and above all else God loves you! The access here is pretty easy right at the southeast corner of O'Connor and State Hwy 114. They have donuts and kolaches, a separate service for kids (they are welcome to stay in service with you if you choose), and a very accessible pastor who has written several books which all point to the same conclusion. God gave you the gift of Jesus Christ and there are no other requirements but to accept His mercy and grace. For once, how about you visit a church that never makes you feel guilty about being imperfect and never makes you look at yourself as unclean or impure? You'll never be given a list of steps to receive God's mercy and grace because He's already given it to you! The Grace Church just helps you to see what's already inside you! The church also has an amazing online presence if visiting a church in person is just not your thing and you want to do church on your own time. And the pastor here encourages you to worship and attend church however and whenever you want in person or online.

I want to begin with some updated information. Please pay attention to the date of this review, as…read morechanges do occur. There are now only two Covenant Church physical campuses. Sunday services at the South Campus (Carrollton) are at 9 AM and 11:30 AM. The teaching pastor of the day travels to the North Campus (McKinney) in between the two South Campus services to deliver the same message there live, then returns to Carrollton for the 11:30 service. Pastors Amie and Stacey are the Lead Pastoral Team, with Pastor Amie and her team of teaching pastors doing a wonderful job of speaking the Word of God into the hearts, spirits, and minds of their flock in person and online. (The South Campus Sunday services are live on YouTube and at covlive.online.church. One will be posted permanently on Covenant's YouTube channel, on Monday at the latest. Speaking about YouTube, Covenant Worship is powerful; just listen! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFfLNdOSbQn07h6_yXPtVrQ.) Covenant is truly a multigenerational multicultural non-denominational community. (Covenant Church practices child dedication and water baptism by immersion but is not a Baptist church in any sense.) The worship team and the teaching pastors work in tandem so that the music choices not only lead everyone into deep and meaningful worship but prepare them to hear the intentional life-changing message. This leads to multiple salvations at every service. Covenant's Core Values are: * Know God * Find Freedom * Discover Purpose * Make a Difference That plan means that whatever your age or spiritual maturity when you come to this church, Covenant is ready, through small topical groups, weekend events, short-term classes and other formats for lifetime learning to help you make sure that you have a deep and personal relationship with Jesus no matter what is happening around you. The foundational practices to growing in "knowing God" are reading and understanding the Bible as God's Word, and prayer as two-way communication with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. "Finding freedom" is the next goal and may happen privately at any point in one's spiritual journey but Freedom Groups, a 14-week course, is a primary tool. "Discovering (your) Purpose" can change over a lifetime of circumstantial changes but Growth Track is especially designed to help you find God's purpose for your life. Making a difference, whether it is spreading the Good News of Jesus privately or publicly, providing physical needs and assistance along with being ready to meet spiritual needs, comes naturally to those who have an intimate relationship with their Maker and Savior, who have found freedom and purpose, encouraged by the excellent preaching and teaching from the pastors and the Covenant community surrounding them.

I spoke to Pastor George up front about my concerns and bad church experiences in the past that I…read moredid not want to occur at this church. I told him that I was just there for church...not judging and not for interrogating not for laying of hands until I got to know folks & then I WOULD DECIDE ....he agreed. Steven & Mary picked me up for church... He became tyrant when I tried to calmly clarify where he was parked... Steven was angry in a "How dare you ever question that I may have made a mistake...I am NEVER wrong attitude!" (red flag). Then there was the nonstop personal interrogation that lasted through the ride & much of bible study (respect promise broken - red flag). Didn't see Christianity in their celebration of hula dancing & prayer only indicating that new people R lost and not simply people looking for biblical fellowship... (arrogance causes blocks in ministry). Also, George broke from his normal sermon to laying hands on everyone....I declined as discussed with George. Also, the bible study (Steven) teacher's wife, Mary told me that the males regularly flirt with women that are not their wife as though this was ha! ha! cute (red flag). ...lots of vain talk. I kindly publicly informed about 30 people... George & his adult choir daughter not to touch me anywhere due to serious physical health issues. Then at the end of the service, out of nowhere a strange man abruptly had his open hand firmly on my lower back while standing approximately 4" with his mouth from my mouth. Ironically bible study was on listening to God and breaking from rigid church traditions. Apparently they do not believe that God corrects them through vulnerable visitors. Sexually harassed, I kept pulling away from him. Then he moved his hand to caressing my arm that I told everyone in the church that I had an injury to and please don't touch just smile instead. I immediately told the strange man the same. He was still only inches with his mouth from mine way too close. The bible says don't even look at a woman in lust or you have committed adultry. This person crossed that line to physical contact and personal space invasion... Only OFFER handshake. He saw that my guard was down and he accosted. When driven back they kept trying to trick me into giving personal info...this is a safety & respect issue. The ride was not worth it... charity service in exchange for harassment...bad deal. Later that night I called Mary & kindly gave feedback. She immediately attacked me (as usual from the 1st ride) and took a verbal stance indicating that no male at her church would ever degrade a woman. She had no idea who the male even was, at that point. I then told her that the male was Asst. Pastor Robert. She continued defense, telling me that he was a very Godly man and loving father (many pervs fit her description). She told me that he must have thought that I was super spiritual, so I must not have personal boundaries. She then told me that I must be damaged and need to ask God to "fix me" so that I am comfortable with a strange man sexually harassing me. She kept rhetorically asking, "Would you feel uncomfortable if he put his hand on your lower back if he did it in front of Jesus?" I immediately referenced the bible's teachings on adultry in the heart. Then she said rhetorically, "Would you feel uncomfortable if Jesus put his hand on your lower back?" .... Then more attacks on me defaming me as "damaged" and made other continuous false accusations to defend ANY male in her church. No pedistools... I would not let a coworker, a boss, a customer, a stranger on the street, Ect put his hand on my back especially not while conversation approximately 4" with his mouth from. Unfortunately there is a lot of lusting people up & singles matching in churches. I said, "I have the right to set personal boundaries with males in the church without being discredited as damaged." .... reminded me of a catholic church cover up of sexual abuse...smaller but why let escalate? It is what you do in secret and how you respect ALL that is the 2nd commandment. If someone had shown no tolerance and a kind correction of the man, I would have continued. Instead "Godly" woman chose to make ungodly unbiblical excuses and continuously attack me..... not biblical & DEFINITELY NOT from the Holy Spirit. Only Satan uses scripture out of context and/ or to mischaracterize the Holy Spirit. The "Godly" woman actually told me that the Holy Spirit must have told the man to put his hand on my lower back in such a manner while just meeting me. People will treat you like U R stupid when they think that U R vulnerable. The Holy Spirit DOES NOT instruct against Lord Jesus and Lord Jehovah's teaching on respect, self discipline, and sins of lust. With churches like this you can see why so many worthy people are run out of churches. How can they correct lust in society when they facilitate sexual harassment at church? "No" means "No!" God bless
