I found truth about this church when my students and I helped them with Christmas cards for the givings. The meaning of Christmas lies in honoring God's greatest gift of His Son for our salvation, and our gift-giving should be a retlection of this truth, correct? But we were banned for writing the Name of Christ on the cards nor on the foods. "These people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men." Is. 29:13 Did you catch that? So, I contacted three pastors by email. Jim W. asked me to contact Estee who is in charge of the event. Libin Abraham would not reply my email but he wants to talk on the phone. Steve Frissell replied in saying, "We've been partnering with McWhorter for more than 15 years and I have seen multiple people come to Bent Tree as we have followed their guidelines. One of the guidelines is not including the name of Jesus. This isn't an error than needs correcting. This is how we love our neighbor well. I don't want to mislead you into thinking discussing further means we may change our mind. We will continue the relationship with McWhorter." ---I copied his email and pasted it to this pos. Steve, can you please show me where in the Bible says "Remove My Holy Name and agree the human rules in the name of your love"? When Apostle Paul and Barnabas were on their first missionary trip, the Name of Jesus was not welcomed to Antioch, so they shook the dust off their feet and moved on to another city, Iconium in Ac.13:51. They followed what Jesus had taught them in Matthew 10:14 "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet." Jesus was telling His disciples that where they were rejected, they had no further responsibility. "So they shook the dust off their feet as a warning to them and went to Iconium." Ac. 13:51 WHAT IF the disciples had taken the situation in their own hands saying "We will do anything we can to love our neighbors and disobey His teaching!! Past 15 years the Name of Jesus was buried by the agreement of this church. And Heaven has been grieving over it. I said to Steve, "Judas Iscariot agreed to identify Jesus to the Roman authorities in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. Bent Tree agreed to remove the Name of Jesus in exchange for their givings & love so that there would be more traffic = more money to Bent Tree?? What is the difference between the two?" Chosen Ones, hear this! The church that stands on the Word no matter the cost, where the fire of God never went out on the altar and the Word of God was honored, followed and obeyed above every opinion, every regulation, and every man not to be altered, compromised, diluted, or manipulated in the name of LOVE is the one Jesus is coming back for. The danger is that Bent Tree church continues singing and operates as though the Spirit never left. The Holy Spirit does NOT stay in a church that removed the name of Jesus over 15 yrs for their own love and didn't walk in Revelation God gave us. Don't forget that by His Name we are saved. We shall lift His Holy Name high above all human rules. Stay away from this church!

Sunday services at the South Campus (Carrollton) are at 9 AM and 11:30 AM. The teaching pastor of the day travels to the North Campus (McKinney) in between the two South Campus services to deliver the same message there live, then returns to Carrollton for the 11:30 service. Pastors Amie and Stacey are the Lead Pastoral Team, with Pastor Amie and her team of teaching pastors doing a wonderful job of speaking the Word of God into the hearts, spirits, and minds of their flock in person and online. (The South Campus Sunday services are live on YouTube and at covlive.online.church. One will be posted permanently on Covenant's YouTube channel, on Monday at the latest. Covenant is truly a multigenerational multicultural non-denominational community. (Covenant Church practices child dedication and water baptism by immersion but is not a Baptist church in any sense.) This leads to multiple salvations at every service. The Church is special for us because it supports our multi culture lifestyle that being my wife is Latino and I am a Black American. We are able to attend church in English or in Spanish for our spiritual enrichment, there is very good translation to support us as we learn each other's language better. Life Church/Mundo De Fe has a good community atmosphere about it, which foresters close relationships through Pastor Tim and Pastor Abigail leadership. It's a very caring Church, which comes across when you have a chance to interact with the other Pastors in the Church like Pastor Rolando and Pastor Pepe. It's a priority for Anamariela and I to be involved with a Church where the mission is about connecting souls together in Christ Jesus, and giving back to the community which Life Church/Mundo De Fe accomplishes through its outreach programs like the Soup Mobile and Celebrate Recovery. Though I have not been a member as long as my wife, we are able to get involved through leading a connection group, and serving in the Church at the connection booth. We look forward to not only growing in the Church, but utilization our calling in ministry to help the Church expand it goals and mission to connect souls to Christ Jesus and teach believers to grow in faith.
