Added to my Montreal Favorites List…read more I love everything about this shop. You can tell there is so much TLC that goes into each dish. The flavors are really well thought-out and balanced. The price is right too. Super friendly staff, and I love the business model, giving lots of creative freedom to the chef, not being boxed in by the same meals every day. Ordered a bunch of different things and literally 5-stars across the board. I will DEFINITELY be returning here regularly going forward. I hope they stay around for a while... do yourself a favor and go visit this restaurant / grocery / Chinese deli

There are two daily noodle options to choose from (varies between soup / noodles with sauce / warm / cold). The two options vary a lot, but there's always one that's with meat and one that's vegetarian, often with tofu and vegetables. It's often spicy and always has great depth of flavour. The ingredients taste fresh and there seem to be an effort put into choosing local and seasonal products. Watch out to go somewhat close to opening time as they tend to sell out in the early afternoon! There's also a fridge with a few other options you can purchase (ex. fried rice, smashed cucumber, eggplants). The cook and the front of store lady are both very kind and welcoming. This place seems pretty successful already, wish them all the best!

Produce and fruits like just about everywhere in Montreal is top notch, well displayed and fairly priced,Selection of everyday products and staples is well represented but where this market shone is with it's vast selection of middle Eastern products. A fresh cheese section featuring 8 different Fetas,6 Jabins, and countless Halloumis with a smattering of herbed and honeyed specialty soft cheeses. Sausages covering the spectrum from your excellent local bratwurst to 9 flavors of Mergez from the very mild to the intensely red and spicy. Lebanese and Turkish coffees abound as does every conceivable dried herb and spice and I couldn't help but indulge in a couple tubes of Tunisian Harissa, mounds of sundried and oil marinated tomatoes, tins of Lebanese 7 spice blends. Service is decidedly 3'rd world meaning curt and perfunctory but not rude as some reviewers claim but then again my French is minimal and Arabic non existent. So when next in Montreal please take time to visit this great grocery....you'll never know what you'll find.

Merci à Morteza pour son excellent service à la clientèle.

First I want to congratulate the owners in bringing an accessible store to the greenfield park…read moreneighborhood. I have been using the store since its inception in Greenfield park around an year back. The stock is reasonably fresh and rotating and the support Mexican staff is pretty pleasing to deal with. The fish and meat sections are pretty well managed. But what brought me to my knees is an incident last month. I was at the meet section, and my wife had placed her wallet on the sill of the crab container and was picking up crabs. The next instance the wallet was gone. Initially we thought we left it in the car , when we found it to the contrary, we reported it to the front counter. they said they never found it. It never occurred to me to ask for the camera footage. I called the store back upon reaching home to request for the camera footage. At that point the store personnel were less than forthcoming. Tired, bored, disinterested. That Wallet contained everything from the sin card to driver's license to various plastic cards. It has taken a few weeks to reinstate all my accounts due to that loss. What is alarming is that the wallet contained address, photo and more personal details and person that grabbed it had no civility to return. What is more alarming is the store personnel's resolve to address customer's problems. It simply did not exist. I think the approach to customer service can be more service centric and empathetic. This would definitely reduce incidents like theft at the premise. That apart I would have given these stores a five star rating.

Very comfortable to shop there. They have a few sales areas, and conventionally grown produce. Believe it or not, if you only have a few bucks but you want to stay healthy you can feed yourself quite well. They have a small vitamin/supplement area, very cramped, and someone sits there to help, but they are friendly. The store is cramped and there is always someone in the way of someone else. The atmosphere of that store is so great, it can be forgiven. It is not perfect, but you can tell they try. That makes all the difference. Returning items is not easy. Bulk organic coffee is the best price. The bulk organic olive oil is always going empty also a good deal. Bulk organic nuts and seeds.
