Phone started glitching & front camera stopped working, brought it back replaced screen, happened again, told me they had to order an upgraded screen. After 4 visits, screen didn't fit properly & the phone stopped functioning. They neglected to tell me that was a possibility on my first visit & that the phone was actually under factory warranty, I would've brought my phone to Apple if I knew that & not wasted my money. Learn from my mistake & spend the extra money by going to a Samsung authorized repair shop. This store is located between Fabulous Brows & Ocean County Sports in the Ocean County Mall. I did not confuse this store for another store as suggested by the merchant. This ifixandrepair in Toms River "repaired" my cracked phone for $277.22 on 8/18/24 by putting a screen replacement on that started coming off in a month or two when the so-called "warranty" ended. The receipt said "Ocean Retail LLC", but the storefront says iFixandrepair. Then dust and debris got into my phone. I had to get it repaired by a repair shop authorized by Samsung with a similar name: Ubreakifix. They fixed it right (& they put the name of their business on their receipts). I emailed ifixandrepair at the email the receipt was sent to twice, messenger@messaging.squareup.com for a refund & heard nothing in response. Fix Fast and Working ! My wife had stopped in to get my sons shattered glass Iphone 7 Plus. They were very knowledgeable of the problem and in 20 minutes the phone was fixed and functioning as new. They replaced the glass as well as the home button. Price was reasonable plus you get a 30 day warranty. Store hours was a big help as well. I went for a broken iphone screen. I chose this one over the slightly better reviewed nearby option because it had no wait. They fixed the phone in 20 minutes and the price ($90) was comparable to other places. It looked good when I first saw it... but as soon as I got home I realized there was this strange bright spot on my screen that never goes away. I also get this weird trailing grey area when I type now (often but not always). The phone screen also seems to be more sensitive; I am constantly hitting buttons with my cheek when I talk on the phone. And then every once in a while I get a new kind of 'ghosting.' Where I put my phone down and it literally looks like a ghost is using it. Very strange to watch. It's like certain section of the screen sticks or something. As if someone is repeatedly hitting one section of the screen. Typing the same letter over and over, continually hitting buttons, opening new windows. None of this stuff happened at all before getting my phone 'fixed.' To be fair, I haven't attempted to go back and see if they will fix it because I haven't had the time. But if you need your phone fixed I would opt for Cellairis. Also didn't love that they had a tip jar and tip option on credit cards. Not the type of thing you tip for in my opinion, but of course I left a tip because I am a sucker. read more

Would give no stars if I could. I found myself with a dead iPhone battery while visiting my mother. I was unable to get to the Apple store in Freehold, so my brother suggested this place. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! You are MUCH better off going to the Apple store for help or try getting help from your service provider!! If I could give it one star, I would. This place has THE worst customer service to exist. I came in one afternoon to get the front of my iPhone 5s replaced because the previous night it had shattered. My phone was working perfectly fine- I am just not one of those people who can walk around with a cracked screen. The man behind the counter said he could have it done in under 30 minutes. Awesome, I thought, plenty of time for me to get to work. NOT! He ended up replacing my screen but destroying my phone internally. My phone would no longer turn on. Upon their request, I left my phone with them while I went to work because their manager was going to come in and take a look at my phone. A couple of hours later when the manager came in he called me at work and said that they needed to restore my phone. Aggravated, I just agreed. After I pondered the idea for a while, I realized that something was off because I came in with a hardware problem, not a software problem, therefore there should be nothing wrong with my phone. They were trying to place the blame on me by saying that because my phone did not have the latest updates that sometimes when you put a new front on it the phone will not work. Did they assume I was stupid? I immediately asked them if that they were aware that such a thing happens sometimes then why didn't they check my software before they tried "fixing" my phone? No reply, just blank stares. I came in later that night to see if there was any progress and they had put the shattered screen back on my phone, only now it was even MORE shattered from being man handled and it would not turn on. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and talking down to me. He told me to go to Apple and say that I dropped my phone and then to purchase a new iPhone for $269. He then said if I came back with a receipt that he would reimburse me for the difference between the price of the new phone and the price of their screen repair, which is $139. Why on EARTH would I let them charge me a full $139 when they didn't even replace the screen?? I walked in with my phone working perfectly fine, just the glass was broken. I literally left with my phone MORE broken than before and it was completely beyond repair. I went to the Apple store today and they gave me a new phone, free of charge. read more

DONT DROP OFF YOUR PHONE HERE WITHOUT A RECIEPT! My 17 year old daughter brought her cracked screen iPhone 5s in for repair along with my wife's iPhone 6+ that was having issues. The store took both phones, her information ,charged her $356.31, and said they had to get a part. A few days later, my daughter picked up her iPhone, but was told my wife's was not ready yet and that they would call. As my wife has another phone she is using, a few weeks went by before we realized we were never called to pick up the phone. I sent my daughter to pick it up, but they suddenly had no record of the transaction and she was told they had no iPhone 6+ in the store. When I finally had time, I attempted to call the store. When asking what may have happened, I was treated rudely. "Are you sure this is the right store?" "We have no phone", all with a belligerent attitude. I have printed my American Express receipt and I am heading down to the store now to get to the bottom of this ridiculous situation, as they obviously have very poor record keeping, charged me to fix a phone, and lost it. read more

These guys are great. I have three daughters and they each have ipads and iphones. So needless to say, i have a broken screen about every month or so. I been in to see them for at least 12 screens in the last couple years. They are always courteous and no matter how busy they are, they always find a way to get my devices squared away ASAP. Just before major surgery my daughter dropped her iPad, severely cracking its screen. While she was at home with me recuperating I asked her young techie friends where to get it fixed. Irfixandrepair came highly recommended. When I got there they were out of stock of the screen I needed. I was told to call back in a few days as new stock was expected. I called and spoke with James. After telling him a little about my daughter he said he's put a screen aside with my name on it. I went to his store at 3:00 PM and, after identifying myself, he said he'd 1. fix the ipad within 1 1/2 hours and 2. keep my daughter in his prayers. I walked around the mall and 1 hour later James called, all done! The iPad looked like new; it had also been thoroughly tested. James' professionalism and customer service are exceptional! Take note 1 star = "Eek! Methinks not"! Steer clear of this place! These guys do not care about customers. First the one guy told me that once the part came in I could stop by and my phone would be fixed within about 45 minutes. He neglected to mention that there is a particular person who can fix my model. I did not know I should ask for that person before bringing my phone back to get repaired. So when I called to see if it was a good time to bring my phone in, I was told yes. I drove to the mall to find out that the guy I didn't know about was not there, so it was in fact not a good time, and I was then told to come back at 6 and he'd be there. I took the time out of my day and used my gas money again to drive back, arriving at 6:10. I said, "you told me the guy who can fix my phone would be here." I was told, "Yes, give us about an hour." Once again I was not told that they guy was not there, and that I might be wasting my time. So I walked around the mall killing time, and when I came back I was told that he called out sick, and he'll be in tomorrow. I asked for a discount for my trouble, and was told no. Terrible experience. I will go somewhere else, and recommend everyone else do that too. read more
