This review is for their initial visit and consultation from April 2021. We had an issue with our dryer and had ifix come out to assess. Seems that we needed a specific part to be ordered. We paid for the visit plus a deposit for the part to be ordered. Mike came back a week later to install the new part. Turns out that part was faulty. Mike came back a third time and determined the dryer issue could not be addressed. Before I could even ask, he said I would only have to pay for the initial visit and would be receiving my deposit for the part. I appreciated that Mike came out three times. On each visit he was friendly and took the time to explain to me everything he did. He also gave suggestions and options on how to handle the issue. read more

These people have no business fixing high end appliances and the customer service is awful. They are rude and unprofessional and unresponsive. We have been working them for about a year to get our subzero refrigerator fixed. It seems that they misdiagnosed and missed an important Freon leak that would have solved the problem from the beginning and instead did 2 other expensive repairs that didn't fix the root of the problem. The whole time there were several clues to the real problem (persistent leaking, uneven fridge temperature) that never got fixed with their repairs. If they had done their due diligence and fully evaluated the fridge they might have figured out what was really wrong. Before our second repair I explicitly asked them to evaluate the fridge and the second compressor where the leak ended up being and they told me it was "completely fine" when in reality it was actually broken and the likely source of the overheating. When I tried to engage the repair technician in a discussion of why we had persistent leaking or overheating after his repairs his response was to find a way to blame us. He said our refrigerator was installed in the cabinets incorrectly and that it was our fault the fridge broke because we painted the kitchen. He also pulled the fridge out to do his repair and then never fully replaced it in the cabinet correctly. The woman that runs the office and schedules appointments is very rude and does not make an effort to accommodate customers in her scheduling. She does not communicate with the technicians to tell them what is wrong or what they need to evaluate. She also knowingly sent a repair person who doesn't work on subzero to our house to stall for time and left us with a broken fridge for an wxWhen we asked her for a different technician or to speak to her boss she just screamed at me that we were wrong for various reasons. read more

iFix was able to come out on a short notice to fix my broken built in Microwave (Sharp). The technician was courteous and prompt with his estimates. I believe their price is pretty competitive with the market rate and they have the parts needed immediately to fix the microwave circuit board on the spot which was nice. The only minor compliant I have against them is that they were an hour late to the original agreed upon window of operation. However, they did call me in advance to let me be aware of the situation so I can let that slide. Overall, I would probably use them again to fix my appliance issues. read more

During this time on COVID, come out most small business are close, understandable. So long story short we had problem our refrigerator. I gave a call to make appointment, Anna was given few questions regarding refrigerator and offered me next day appointment, but my fridge was not cooling at all, I explained her that I need service ASAP, even later same day. After few minutes later she called me back and said that definitely someone gonna stop by later after 8pm which is not business hour and I really appreciate that. I had a stacked WD in tight closet that was leaking from a connector in the back. It was impossible for me to reach (even if I had a 2nd person to help). iFix gave me a firm price quote (no diagnosis necessary; much appreciated) for labor + new parts I requested. They came on time for the appointment. It took three guys and about an hour to access the back of the machines and replace the Y connector and hoses to steel. They did a great job and the guys were very friendly and polite. Paid by check to save on the 2% credit card fee. read more

I've worked with them 3 times so far, the first two times they fixed my fridge and my dishwasher, they're promp and they got the job done but it was expensive. Recently I had them come by to fix my dishwasher because it broke again, this time I was home. They quickly diagnosed the problem, broken pump. The quote came to $250. That seemed high so I paid the $80 visit fee. I googled the problem and found that the part sells on amazon for $30, they're quote for the part alone was $110. I installed the part myself in 15 minutes and I have no experience with this stuff. Paid them $550 to fix my fridge and a few weeks(5 to be exact) later it started exhibiting the same problem. Called them back and they wouldn't warranty their work but would happily charge an additional $600 to fix "this other thing" No thanks. I just went out and bought a $2,500 replacement. If they were honest and told me their fix(freon charge, filter replacement) would be short and temporary, I would have just bought a new fridge to begin with. Instead, here is your $550 one star review. Edit: I was told by their tech on day one that it was NOT a freon leak. He said it was a faulty filter, and they need to charge the freon back after he replaces the part. Now they are saying it was just a leak? Well, $550 is quite steep for the 30 minutes of work he did! And how exactly did he find the leak in this short period of time? Don't you have to fill the lines with nitrogen and pinpoint the leak first?
