Many small historical museums are so dusty. I was pleasantly surprised to see the clean artifact, fingerprint fee cases and nice looking collection of items. The Director is a former school Principal and keeps artifacts open for people to touch. This is great for a tactile person like myself. They have an electronic screen with video shorts and plan an effort to recognize the Hispanic/Latino culture. I hear they are planning to expand in future years. They made multiple phone calls to get to the bottom of it. ------------------------ This place is an absolute nightmare! I waited all day, along with several others, for my Real ID and made it through to the final step of taking the photo, as my driver's license was expiring. After six weeks of waiting, I called their office to find out they never processed my application. I was instructed to come back and re-initiate the process. When I got in line, I presented my receipt and all required information, yet they told me I had to obtain a number and start from scratch. The incompetence here is astounding! The manager today was unhelpful, stating that without proof of residence for my Real ID, I would need to return another day. I would rather endure a root canal than deal with this level of incompetence again!
