We arrived 30 minutes early and they still took us without wait. Only issue is they couldn't find my appointment even though I had the paper showing my confirmed appointment. This company deserves a -000. I have no complaints regarding the staff. What I do have a complaint about is that I have went there for fingerprinting and did not receive my results. It took me over a month to get the issue resolved and a refund. And I still had to go back and pay for another fingerprinting. I recently sent an employee on 11/26/2024 and as of 12/10/2024 she has not received the results either. I tried to call customer service a few times and was unable to reach a live person. The system has too many prompts and it automatically makes you choose prompts where you cannot reach a live person. I don't know who owns this company, but you need to do better. You have contracts with many states and millions of dollars. Its ridiculous that you cannot hire a great IT team from overseas to help you. After receiving an email to go ahead and schedule my appointment, I found this location was open on Saturdays and booked-a plus for those who work 9 to 5 jobs like me during the weekday. Located in the Alec shopping center off Main, this place is easy to find. Signage is nice and big from a far to prepare your turn into the lot and locating the suite is just as easy too as signage above each suite is just as clear and big. Upon entering, you sign in and wait to be called back to the counter with your ID and form of payment. Note that you can only use credit cards, but when you book online, that information is emphasized on the confirmation page. Also noted on the confirmation page is for you to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. Don't fret if the lobby is filled with people. They also do TSA appointments here too, so they're not running behind. The lady I had was very kind and gave me directives on what to do as she captured my fingerprints. We even had a conversation as she did it for she told me she had been fingerprinting people for 15 years. I was back in my car in record time-10 minutes after appointment which was the time estimated on my reservation confirmation. Location is nice and clean and most people were wearing their masks and trying to social distance as much as possible. I had a young girl give me attitude just because I needed an appointment instead of walk-ins, I get that, but she didn't even let me talk about how Im having issues setting up an appointment or give me any instructions. The girl just kept telling me "I need an appointment " over and over im literally showing her the error on my phone that it's not working. As much as I've been catching flights and not feelings, it only made sense for me to sign up for TSA PreCheck. I went online and made an appointment as prompted. Next step was to come to one of their vendors to show your documents and take finger prints. I came with what I thought was proper documentation but found out I didn't have a proper birth certificate, the same one I've been using all my life. I had to get one from my state of birth and that took about a week. I was told I didn't have to make an appointment and just come in since they keep all my info for 120 days. I came back and waited close to 2 hours to get processed. The staff was just going through the motions and wasn't giving much info as to why we were waiting so long. I'm applying for a title agent's license in Florida, and part of the process is getting fingerprinted for the Department of Financial Services. They contract through a company called IdentoGO, and there is ONE location in the state of North Carolina, way up on the north side of Charlotte. I took time out of my work day to drive up there for my appointment, and I'm standing in line at the check-in window behind a man who'd driven all the way from Raleigh to get his fingerprints done. They refused to let him in because he didn't have a face mask. They also don't include anything about needing a face mask in their appointment conformations. So, he's standing there arguing with them because he drove 3 hours to get to this appointment, and even offered to go to Walgreens and buy a mask. But they told him if he leaves and doesn't keep his current appointment time, he can't come back but rather will need to reschedule for another day. The guy was furious, and I don't blame him. Then the lady looks past him at me, and says, "Have you checked in yet?" and I said, "No." She asked, "Where's your mask?" and I told her that I don't have one, wasn't informed that I needed one, and that there's no mandates for masks anyway so why the hell are we still playing this game? I left and called the 800-number for the main IdentoGO headquarters and asked why the hell they're having people drive hours to their appointments only to be turned away due to not having a mask. Located in a strip mall type place. Parking is no issue. Not the friendliest employees. There was one lady in particular, shorter silver hair, who was super grumpy and treated the guy in front of me pretty badly without reason when he asked if they had a service they apparently didn't offer. But this is a fingerprinting service, not a county fair, and it's not really their job to smile the whole time. Either way, being greeted by at least a decently cordial person would have been nice. When you go in, have your ID ready and let them know you have an appointment. I had an appointment scheduled and was taken in pretty much immediately. The process for fingerprinting was effortless and they guide you through the whole way. The facilities were clean.
