I first posted about Ideas Alive (formerly Party Princess Rentals) back in 2017 after my son's Star Wars themed 4th birthday (fun fact - they were my first Yelp review ever, they were that good!). Now here I am again 9 years later and after my daughter's 6th birthday, and I am still singing their praises. The staff at Ideas alive is top notch - friendly, responsive, helpful. But it's truly the actors/actresses who are incredible! They have the ability to bring characters to life and create magical, memorable parties. This time around we hired an Ariel - she was STUNNING. She was so sweet and genuinely magical. Every single girl fell in love with her. From the dancing to the story time and face painting and the photo ops, everything was absolutely perfect. I especially loved how she didn't hesitate to jump in and on the trampoline with all the littles. I absolutely adored her and would recommend her in a heart beat, any time. We hired Ariel for my daughter's 5th birthday party, and she was absolutely amazing! All the kids were completely mesmerized. My daughter LOVED Ariel and is already talking about which princess she wants to come next year. Ariel was everything you could hope for: sweet, professional, beautiful, and perfectly prepared. It was an incredibly hot day, yet she stayed calm, graceful, and in character the entire time. She improvised beautifully when needed and made every child feel special. Truly a total pro. I had a fantastic experience with Ideas Alive. We got Spider-man (Miles Morales) for my five year-old boys. Good email communication, I felt like I knew what to expect and the rules were fair. "Miles" called me half an hour before the scheduled start and everything was on time. His costume looked great, and my kids were astonished. Miles was really friendly and approachable, he understood when some kids shrunk away. One thing I didn't quite understand is that by buying a performer like this, they will entertain the kids for that entire hour. Miles told a story from a book appropriate for the little ones, he played Red Light Green Light, gave out stickers and put on temporary tattoos. The adults got to relax! Really glad we chose to do this, it made a good birthday great. read more

Our daughter just celebrated her 5th birthday and it was one of the best parties! Rapunzel (Josette) and Meggan were so amazing. They made it easy to book and were open to changes when I asked for them last minute. Rapunzel stayed in character the entire time and even did a great job helping our little one cheer up from being sad because Rapunzel had to catch her carriage back to the castle. Just had darth vader come to pump it up. Booking was easy. Put in a request online and received email back saying it was available and with pricing. Talked on the phone week before party to nail down all the details. For 4th birthday party, was a little unsure if kids would be afraid or not--handed my son a light saber for a little Jedi battle before darth posed for pics and he showed them how to use the force. He then came up to the party room for singing happy birthday and stayed in character all the way out the door. Darth came on time and was great with the kids. He wasn't in a rush at all to head out. Was very real and friendly. If a darth can be friendly ? Highly recommend. And will use again for future bdays I'm sure. Also to note- the person who called me the week of event-- so friendly and gave reassurance of the timing and stayed on to answer all my questions. Was so nice to have an actual conversation vs a " here let me take your money and run". Professional but friendly. Hard to come by nowadays. read more

All of the girls in the party were so thrilled and believed that our Cinderella was for real :) Amanda did a great job in keeping the kids so entertained and mesmerized ! It was so worth it ! We hired Anna and Elsa for my daughter's fourth birthday party and it was amazing. The performers looked and acted like professionals aka Anna and Elsa. They were on time and did what we wanted for the grand entrance/surprise! They read books and sang songs with all of the kids. They answered questions they had and took pictures. They watched her open presents and did face painting. The company booked on super short notice also so it worked out perfectly. I had invited Rapunzel for my daughter's 5th bday, it totally made her day. Justine showed up on time and was great with kids, she was in no rush and very friendly. My daughter now truly believes in princesses :). My boy/girl twins wanted Elena and Darth Vader to come to their birthday and PPP made their wishes come true! Planning was fun and easy (they take care of ALL the activities for you). Meggan, who helps you plan, is so upbeat I swear I was more excited about the party after speaking with her. The actors were wonderful and went above and beyond. I would like to share how my Early Learning Center and Family have loved the precious gift of having Party Princess Productions be a part of our school music curriculum and most recently our family event. From the very first time I reached out to Party Princess Productions (owner Meggan) she was so detailed and professional. We were recommended to Party Princess Productions by a friend and we were so happy we booked them. We hired Ariel and Superman to show up to sing, face paint, and overall entertain the kids and adults. Ariel looked great and was a beautiful singer, Spiderman was doing all kinds of superhero training and even had the dads getting into the act. From the initial call through booking, we were pleasantly surprised at how professional and attentive their office staff was each time we interacted, phone and email. We spoke with them 2 days before the party to confirm final itinerary as we had a slight change to start time, then the actors called the day of the party to confirm arrival details, and their office called us a couple days after the party to ask how it went. We had a lot of questions along the way and Meggan was right there answering each one. 5 Stars! We will be back! read more
