It's so strange to me to write reviews for anything healthcare related, but here goes nothing. My…read morevisit with Bent Tree was super smooth. I called in for an appointment just a couple days in advance and although the physician I requested was not available, they had plenty of other physicians and PA's as an option for the time I wanted to come in. I met with Anita, PA, and she and her medical assistant were fantastic! The front desk was also quick to check me in and I probably didn't wait anymore than 10 - 15 minutes. My in-network insurance was also processed just fine. I guess I just got lucky that day, considering all of the other reviews! I'll be back and have recommended my husband to come here as well.

I've been a patient at Bent Tree Family Physicians in Frisco for over 5 years, and my experience…read morehas progressively gone downhill. Most recently, Veronica Dilworth insisted that I come back every three months just to get my blood pressure checked so she could continue prescribing medication. I have had this same condition for multiple years, and at every other practice I've ever been to, I was prescribed a full year of medication without unnecessary follow-ups. Never in my medical history have I been required to return every three months for something this routine. This felt less about patient care and more about keeping patients on recurring billing cycles. Additionally, my in-room experience with Veronica Dilworth was honestly just okay at best, in fact, very mediocre and nothing that would make me want to continue care with her anyway. There was nothing exceptional or confidence-inspiring about the interaction - something you'd like to see in medicine. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated issue. There have been multiple billing-related incidents over the years that strongly suggest unethical billing at this practice. Another major red flag: constant staff turnover. In over five years as a patient, I have never once seen the same doctor or practitioner consistently. Providers rotate frequently--either they leave, or just move out. That alone raises serious concerns. When no physician seems willing to stay long-term, it makes you wonder what's going on internally. Between unnecessary visits, questionable billing behavior, and nonstop provider turnover, I've completely lost trust in this practice. BEWARE. Take your business elsewhere. You'll likely receive better continuity of care--and more importantly your wallet will thank you.

I nicely made a comment about her tardiness. (While I can respect their schedules, keep in mind, if YOU are late, you won't get seen and will need to reschedule. Read comment about 85 yo woman below). Anyway, I later scheduled another "first appointment of the day" return visit and LO! She managed to be late again with some lame excuse. Finally, after over a year, I called and asked to see a PA or Nurse Practitioner for necessary labs. I saw Helen Smith and really like her. She's my kind of person. So...since "her doctor" was a different doctor, I called insurance co and changed doctors. Just so I could see Helen. Immediately scheduled an appt with her for a physical (first one in several years). Arrived on the scheduled date, about 25 minutes early and guess what? No record of my appointment. Apparently they have a new call center set-up that is really screwed up. Well, the clerk (extremely nice and kind and doing her best) said she could get me "squeezed in" to see someone else but no...I didn't want to be "squeezed in" and I definitely didn't want to see anyone else. Bad, bad business. If they can't get their scheduling act together why should I trust them with my healthcare...life or death types of issues. I have now left a phone message for Helen Brown, Operations Manager II at 214-500-0195. Will be interesting to see if she even returns my call. I am seriously angry and frustrated at what Baylor has turned out to be.

It's rare these days to find a doctor who not only remembers your history but genuinely cares about you as a whole person and that is exactly who she is. Dr. Bergman has walked with me through some of my most challenging medical moments over the years, as well as my victories. She always takes time to listen, never rushes appointments, and treats every concern with compassion, patience, and thoroughness. Her clinical judgment is outstanding, and her ability to explain things in a way that makes sense has helped me understand and manage my health so much better. What I appreciate most is that she treats me like a human being, not a chart number. You can feel that she truly cares about her patients, their families, and their long-term well-being. In an era where medical care can feel rushed and impersonal, she remains a shining example of what healthcare should be. I am incredibly grateful for her continued support, dedication, and consistency over more than a decade and a half. If you're looking for a primary care physician who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly committed to her patients, I cannot recommend Dr. Bergman enough. She absolutely deserves every star -- and then some.

They have, hands down, the worst billing team out of any medical provider I have ever had the misfortune of working with. I have them on record violating Texas law yet they just don't seem to care. They over charged us by about $1,400. When asking for a refund they illegally withheld the funds until they could clear bills with that amount as a credit, even though we explicitly told not to do that beforehand. We rejected the premise of a credit, yet they took it upon themselves to withhold the refund for much longer than they were legally entitled to, and illegally treated it as credit funds. That is in direct volition of TX law. You cant arbitrarily use an overpayment as a credit when the customer explicitly asks for their money back. once asked, you have 30 days to provide the refund from the date of the request. You did NOT do that. I even cited the exact laws and regulations you are bound by here in the state of TX, and you just ignored it and did your own thing. I am not the only person that seems to be facing suspicions and borderline fraudulent practices with this billing department. I will file a complaint with the TX med board and TX AG office along with my evidence of the violation. Hopefully this stops happening to other people. If you actually cared about the quality of your service, you would have fixed your billing issues. I see reviews over years that this is a recurring pattern with this clinic. Seems to still be the case...
