The woman working at the front desk was very helpful, knowledgeable, and competent. The dental hygienist was friendly and personable- making the tiring process of getting X-rays comfortable. I will be coming back here for my regular cleanings and dental needs and will encourage my family to do the same.

Whoever is doing their billing fails to communicate. We had several conversations about billing to…read morefind out they had overbilled us and we now had a credit with them. I'd prefer they do their job rather than crediting us months after the service. We received a letter explaining it months after the fact. So how are we to know that you are charging correctly?! Their staff is not there to provide a service. I became a patient with them and explained how sensitive my teeth were. We, myself and Dr. Hannah Dickson, agreed on how to proceed with the cleaning. I needed a new nightguard and she instructed me it would be $200 for a hard night guard, not the soft one that I had. I wanted a replacement, soft like I had and was pretty much told they don't like doing that. It was hard or nothing. I agreed to the hard one, received it, and they fitted it. It was so hard that it suctioned to my teeth. It was uncomfortable and risked a cap that I have on my teeth. So I stopped using it. In 6 months, I went back for my next cleaning. I again requested the same process used in my prior cleaning. I was told that we didn't the process to treat for my sensitive teeth. Thankfully I was insistent and they reviewed my records to see I was correct before proceeding. We once again discussed the night guard and I insisted on a soft one. I was told it would be another $200 for the mold. I was not treated as if I had any part in my treatment plan or really as if my opinion on treatment mattered. I have spoken to their office manager several times, each time looking for clarity and each time met with rudeness and the attitude that she is doing me a favor. My advice is to find a different dentist, different office.

The…read morefirst visit was an emergency visit as I bit down too hard during the night and chipped off a part of my back teeth! He quickly scheduled a visit for that day and took a look at it. He diagnosed the problem and filled in the gap it left quickly. It felt weird for awhile, but I'm used to it now. I also go see the hygienist 3-4 times a year now to get my teeth specially cleaned and treated since I do have trouble with my gums and teeth and the extra cleanings help mitigate the damage from genetics and also not going to the dentist for years prior (cause they are way scarier than doctors and anything else, right?!). Now that I go more often, the fear has lessened and my teeth and gums are way healthier - which also makes them hurt less when I go in for my next visit. Funny how that cycle works. The office is super nice and clean. The staff are friendly. They have text and phone call reminders for your upcoming visits. I knew nothing about my insurance or my husband's at all and they were able to look it up for us and let us know what services we qualify for and financial alternatives if we needed. There is a semi-private parking lot so you can almost always find a decent parking place. It's close to Bay Brook mall so you can get some shopping in before or after a visit if you've taken a half day from work or left a little early and don't want to pick up your kids right away. Also close to lots of food and other shopping strip malls if Bay Brook isn't your jam. My dentist works an hour away from where I live but it's worth the drive once you find someone you gel with and are comfortable seeing. And most dentist visits are only twice a year so the drive is worth it, especially in Houston, where anywhere worth going is a drive anyways. I definitely recommend Premier Dental!

If you fill out the form online they will actually schedule an appointment for you without ever needing to call, which was convenient for me at that time. You walk in, it's clean, you're greeted and they have an area for kids to play in. Adriana, my dental assistant, helped get all my X-rays and kept me aware of what the next step was. It's never fun sitting around in an office wondering if the dentist is coming or not, so her keeping me updated is a great perk. The process was very smooth. They have a good system down from beginning to end. They even have the office accountant (I believe) come in and walk me through pricing and what would be due at end of service before my cleaning. My hygienist Karla was knowledgeable and thorough in my cleaning. I was comfortable and it helped to have the numbing rinse too lol. That's always fun. She did a great job, even gave me a coupon code for an electric toothbrush. Overall great experience and I have booked my next appointment. And they actually handle all dental care for my mom, brother and littler sister too so definitely recommend for families. *Fun Fact: they have TVs in the ceiling!! I was referred to Dr Devoll from another dentist when she told me I would need surgery to correct my periodontitis. Terrified, I went. Dr Devoll is fantastic and explained everything in a very gentle and informative manner. After being anxious about it for a long time I finally went in for my surgery (gingivectomy + all 4 wisdom teeth extraction + bone graft) this past Friday and received IV Sedation. The process was over before I knew it (I don't remember anything at all after the medicine went in) and the recovery process has been nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.
