I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few years ago and prescribed levothyroxine. At the time I had no real symptoms but the longer I stayed on the medicine the worse I felt. It also caused me to have high blood pressure so I was prescribed blood pressure meds. Then later cholesterol lowering meds which is when I said enough!!! My Dr's and their meds were making me sick! wow...where do i start?…read more i was truly impressed with this place! since me and ang are girls and all sometimes its a little uncomfortable going into a "nutrition and fitness place" we felt so welcomed in there and were greeted upon getting in the door. i spy the pink box of pills that are guaranteed to keep me from eating cheez its 2wice a day!!! score! nice guy comes around counter and sees that i have found what i was looking for, i toss them over and he invites us up to the bar! ha, protein bar...we start chatting about why i want the pills, i happen to look over and ang has the bottle out of the box, lo and behold...THE ACTUAL CAPSULE IS PINK! woot! anyways, i tell nice guy why i want them and he asks us a couple more questions and we get into the discussion about eating right and how much protein a day and the like. i am close to eating right but no where near enough protein...ugh they have this great program with great results, i saw the pics and of course you never believe the pics and then one of the girls comes in to get her measurements done and get more stuff. nice guy (sammy) says here i will whip you up a drink, ugh alright...ang gets chocolate and i get vanilla, both totally taste like crap! he then dumps some bright radioactive yellow liquid in a dixie cup and says, just slam it back, it isnt that bad. HE IS A BIG FAT LIAR! ugh it was gross... i will say that if the program works and i can be cute in all of my clothes and it gives me energy to work out again im all for it! apparently nice guy (sammy) was the owner and i can see why he has such a following. he was very nice and patient, very knowledgeable and had some great tips even for ang and she is broken all the time, he also was not a pushy sales person and the store was fantastically clean and very attractively displayed. no over kill or gay posters of sickly muscled guys. i will return! thanks for all of the great help!
